After 4 years and a couple months trading I believe I'm ready to start living out of Forex. It took me longer than i thought. When i first started trading I was naive enough to think I would be rolling in dough in a few months. Oh boy I was wrong !

Anyways from now on i decided to record this second phase of my trading experience here on FXbook.

I'm far from being what my nick name suggests 'a forex oracle' but I believe I will get there. The next six or eight months will tell me for sure how the rest of my trading life will be.

30 grand,down the drain! Well if you count as money spent in education maybe it does not sound so bad.

Yep Zero it did hurt! Especially when i think that I lost 25 grand between May and October 2007. Thats the price of a big ego, i guess. I always think that I'm smarter than i really am. Looking back I see that I blew my account in less than 6 months which put me right in the 'below average' guy out there.

The other 5 or so grand I blew over the years. After my margin call I got scared of trading, something that took me months to overcome. Than with a smaller 'ego' I went after help and cot myself in the hands of scammers over the net. This new approach did cost me money and time, a lot of time! I went through 5 or 8 self proclaimed 'gurus' and each time things didn't go well and I ended up still losing money it took a big chunk of my mental strength.

Then I decided to go alone again frying my brain through nights and nights for another year and a half till things started to make some sense. Actually to be honest I think my losses may be in the range of 35 to 37 grand so far.

i would suggest that, instead of your going bust by christmas, that you consider becoming a fund manager.

think about it.

you just miight end up having a very merry chriistmas.
