I wonder why commission on ctrader is more expensive than true ECN MT4 ?
true ECN MT4 should meaning ' same environment as ctrader ' if that is really true ECN .
For ctrader I still don't think is true ECN .
I test on ctrader Ic market ,when I place limit order price within slippage but my price not show up on bid /ask .
can some one explain why .
For example I see USDHUF BID/ASK 273.33/ 274.90
I place buy limit 1 lot 273 .90 , but my buy limit not show up , if in true ECN environment bid/ask should be change to 273.90/274.90 .
I don't think ctrader is ' no cheating ' from brokers as said .

cTrader ECN works just the same as ECN in MT4, you have (usually) a bridge in between the MT4/cTrader server and the backend trading platforms. Brokers can cheat just as much regardless of what platform you use.

IcMarkets comission on
ctrader is $0.03 for 0.01 lot
mt4 it is $0.03 for 0.01 lot

Spread are very often close to zero. So your total cost is like 0.07 -0.08. These are great conditions. If you complain about that show me better deal with any broker?

It is common for comission to be in the base currency in cTrader, this is how it works with etc Pepperstone. Which means comission * 1.44 for GBP.

It can be done with MT4 as well (etc fxopen), but it is less common.

Interactive brokers use TWS, not cTrader.

Only good things to say about cAlgo and cTrader brokers. Very tight spread, hardly any slippage and no interference from a trading desk. DMA, direct market access and I could go on listing all the advantages of the platform. Also there is a lot of free downloads available for the platform. RMMRobot.com is one site you should look into to get free downloads for the platform.

That I have no experience about, getting disconnected. It all depends on where you are located and if you are trading your algorithms on a VPS or are depending on your local computer to handle the cBots. For the serious trader I highly recommend a VPS server. With a live account funded higher den $400 it will end up as a free VPS with less slippage and faster execution and an overall cost saving for the trader.

How long normally it is disconnected ?
That would be bad for scalper with big lot size in and out in few minutes , you can lose your shirt if it is disconnected and you can't close the trades .
any solution for that ?

There is no solution I know about so far. It is even worse, once it get disconnected it stays disconnected until you manully fix it. So even the whole night.
