'You trade from a netbook Zero? Man ! My respect for you is increasing by the day. i have 4 22 inch monitors and planing to add 2 more. And i still can't trade properly lol'

Oracle, you should not depreciate yourself. You are controlling risk and saving your account.
Zero is a multiple accounts blower. he has been blowing them for 8 years and have destroyed a huge number of them. Simply you have not been following his 'progress' or as he calls it his 'project'.
The first sign of coming blow up is usually when he starts getting on other people's nerves when his trading goes fine then he will just dissapear to lick wounds and work on his math problem when his gambling catches with him.
There is nothing to learn form him.
Good trading.

BTW, does your family leave you alone when you are trading?

LOL! No problems here Chikot I'm just trying to be nice to him, I still have to work on my psychological side when trading but my self image is strong.

Well it is tough to keep the concentration with my kids and wife stopping by my desk all the time. family comes first so the family/work/forex management is tough. I'm stuck until mid August because I'm transforming my garage in a big office where I will be able to trade and keep my focus so till than family/work/forex/remodeling. Tough tough !

4 monitors? Is that for trading different currencies or to have your charts along with news feeds of some sort? So you're trading full time?

Yep working on a 6 monitor set up

Nope! I trade the Euro/Dollar exclusively. As a technical trader I don't care about news, so no news feed on my screens. I have a mental note about big news release just so I don't trade 20 minutes before and after it.

The answer for this one is on past posts. Go read it lazy boy! LOL Hope you don't mind my sense of humor 😁

Generally good idea to concentrate on one pair.

Man! I hate when big moves happen on Asia it messes up my system! I guess today will be a wait a see day. Boring but better than jump on some gamble and losing money.

Still no trades. Sitting on my hands here! With this big move in Asia, London and NY will play safe and what is supposed to be the most active session behaves like Asia.

I'm not making money but at least not losing.

I would say there was a trend line to break from yesterday. could be nice trade. But i would be careful to go long without good pull back to some support as there is 4H bearish pin bar and it was activated.

Hi TheOracle

I would like to tell you about my forex experience.

when started 4 years ago I was thinking I am the smartest one and would collect the money from market.
first I started with a local broker live account and excel sheets. not worked at all.
I have joined the woodie cci club for a year but again no result at all.
then jumo into MT4 pool and learned about the coding.
tested thousands(I mean that) of strategies coded them and backtested.
Lucly found some workings.
buy what I have done at the beggining was with the first loosing trade I stop live trading and worked with demo.

Ihave some suggestions for you if you dont mind 😉

- find a reliable EA. you can find some from myfxbook live account working EA s
or you can find very good critics about EA s here https://eareview.net/forward-tests
- choose your broker
- rent a VPS

fırst you should at least 2months of demo test wıth the EA and wıth the broker you are goıng to deal ın Lıve account.
second you MUST run EA on a stable VPS wıth max 10ms latency wıth your broker.
thırd the free VPS optıon from broker, you must be carefull ıf the EA coded by yourself. Decompılıng ex4 ıs very easy
fourth after 2 months of demo you should start wıth as low volume as possıble wıth lıve and step up very slowly

You're quite disciplined - I would be eager (as most traders) to keep trading until I get back my losses once I lose a trade!

I just behaved my self.
so many times
-I missed trade entries with 0.10 pip
-trades stop out with 0.10 pip
-trades missed take profit with 0.10 pip

and so many times I found myself crying infront of screen.
all those things become a pool of experince.

all newbies has start with good trades then suddenly magic dissapears and stats loosing then he starts creates his own rules and nuances and all these rules and nuances make everything harder due trader can enter a single trade due to these rules and nuances. at that point everything has mixed up. it is time to step back and relax.

this is common behaivor i assume every trader lived.

Hey Steve thanks for the advice but I'm in this business long enough to know that in Forex there is no one size fits all approach. If EA works for you ( and I believe it does) go for it. In my case I already found my niche and I just need time. I also tried everything I was aware of in these 4 years. I'm doing pretty good last 6 or 8 months (pip wise) and days like today are part of the game.

Chikot I see what you are talking about but my system is essentially for day trading. My trend lines die with the day.

I managed to get the second failed attempt @ 1.4455 currently +30 patience does pay anything below 4470 and i'm out.

Ok I'm out for 33 pips because at this time of the day my house is just too noise for trading. I used to like school vacation time 😁 !

19 pips yesterday plus 33 today puts me well in line with my weekly goal. Lets see what tomorrow brings.

Yes, there is a lot of ways to skin this cat. But everyone is different. I tried to pick things from others and it did not work well.
