I dont know why but I love my wife more when I lose money . (hehhe may be I feel useless , feel guilty ??? ).
My wife can tell if I won or I lost .
Every time I cook for her or come over hold her tight and said ' honey I love you so much ' .
She start ask ' did you lose again ? dont risk too much ok ' .
Well , I try hard to bring her both money and love .
but seem like she can only have one .
Seem like the old saying ' money & love cant be together ' is really valid .
Any body here same as me ?

If you go out with money, would you risk your love?

:) Well, honesty and upfront communication and truth goes a long way. More worth then money for sure.

No, disagree. Been married for 34 years and trading for 7 and one has no effect on the other. She is only worried about my mental stability, not how much money I make. (the Mental stability thing was just humor)

Good insight there CrazyTrader. Now there's someone that has been around awhile.

I did not dare to deposit more than $1000 before I made sure that I am profitable long term and have low risk. Usually 10-15% DD would make me stop trading and withdraw. Can check my last results at FX. it was some 2 years ago.
I stayed on demo with Topstep since November 2012 till July 2014 when I got funded by them. I also opened my own futures account a month ago. wanna know what my max DD was? $100 on my account and $150 on their with $12.5 size per pip.
2 years ago i would blow account with this size faster than i would say noodle. it takes lot of work and time.
I also had only one losing month since Nov 2013 hence my confidence that I can trade my own funds mor ethan $1000.

I understand Vn, the same thing used to happen with me.
When you are making big profits day after day you forget what being humble mean, the very fact to make good money let you feel that you can have whatever you want in life, even whatever girl you want, so you don't really care too much about anything.
But when you suddenly lose, things change, you tend to see how lucky you are to have that nice wife that stay with you and love you, and you just want to show her how much you appreciate it and how much you love it.

I guess that's why very rich people tend to have many wifes during their life, nothing is really valuable when you are making good money.
