The dollar / franc continued its bullish momentum yesterday, making a peak at 0.9723. The signals remain bullish for the 0.9765 test, as part of the bullish scenario after breaking over the top line of the ascending wedge. Clear break and daily / weekly closing over 0.9765 will clear the way to 0.9850 or higher next week. The closest support is 0.9650, which breakthrough can take the price to a neutral zone, the direction will become obscure.

The dollar / franc continued its bullish momentum yesterday, reaching peak at 0.9847. The trading signals remain upward in the near future for the 0.9950 test as part of the bullish scenario following the breakthrough on the upward wedge and the daily EMA 200. The closest support is 0.9800. A clear breakthrough below this level could take the price to a neutral zone for testing 0.9765. Overall, I still prefer the bullish scenario and any downward pressure should be seen as a good opportunity for purchases.

The dollar/franc continued its inertia yesterday, reaching a peak of 1.0000. Views remain bullish for testing the important resistance 1.0037. Intraday support is seen at 0.9940 - 0.9920, whose breakthrough can take the price to a neutral zone, but any downward adjustment is now normal. And every downward pressure should be seen as a good opportunity for purchases. On the upside, a clear break and daily closing above 1.0037 will open the way to 1.0100 or higher.

The dollar/franc was indecisive yesterday. Signals remain up for now to test 1.0100. The first support is at 1.0000, located around the lower boundary of the bullish price channel. A clear breakthrough below this zone may take the price to a neutral region with a 0.9950 test. Basically I stay up and every bearish pressure can be seen as a good opportunity to buy. Upwards, a clear break and daily closing above 1.0100 will clear the way to 1.0170 - 1.0200.

How did that short work out on April 23rd? Don't step in front of a train...

The dollar / franc had another unrestrained move yesterday. The views remain neutral, possibly with light bullish signals for the critical resistance testing of 1.0055. This level should be clearly pushed up to revive and reactivate my upward model. On the downside, key short-term support is 0.9960. A clear breakthrough and daily closure below it can cause future downward pressure to test at 0.9900 or lower.

Are you still short from 4/23, down 200+ pips?

Highest it got was around 0.996X, are you still holding this target? Recovering above 0.99 level seems to lend some support to the bulls, but with all the bad news..

0.996X is the resistance for now.
