guys
the EA %100 catching the big trends and keeping it self from loosing on the sideways. but unfortunatelly it works on 1 hr. and it cathes only the real big ones. ( grid killers ) I am currently woking on a scalper to combine it with the trend catcher. due I know where the big treads are! PS: I use 3rd derivative of fractal group which is combination of fractals. think how much I did smoothed the signals!!! Trade The Trend, Defend To Price. |

I am about to code a GRID that will not blow accout with smart exit strategy. due it will stay away from the big trends( Grid Killers)

I had coded the grid with exit. it makes money but as not I expected. Had to think more on that.
the trend trader is good but works only with 1hr chart and and needs really big trends. like had in 2007-2008-2009-2010 and makes money once or twice a year it is not for me Trade The Trend, Defend To Price. |

this post will be quite pasimistic;
with my 4 years coding experience and thosuands of different EA codes I can say that there can not be any EA that will run more then 6 moths depending on the coded period. what is good for short is good for long after some bars/hours/days/weeks. knowing that is also effected my manal tradings negative. there can not be any grid or martingale code/algo/system/strategy that can make money without blowing account. my conclusion is trading is depending on the waves. same as wave surfing. if you catch the correct wave you produce profit or totally loss. I wish I could not code that much and would not know all those negative information about forex. walker. Trade The Trend, Defend To Price. |

some information:
long grid fails more then short grid. the reason is gravity effect ( water fall ). frox market mood is very similiar to stock market. when it is going long it makes more waves. and this give trader to exit on some point when grid trading. but when going short it is moving like a water fall without consolidation for a long time. and this kills grid accounts. and when it consolidates regrading to to long ones those are more acting like going long anf then starting a second water fall. walker Trade The Trend, Defend To Price. |

as you can see last 2 years profit is very low due to low big trends EA has exit strategy SO there is no 'trade until dead'. and it is decreasing lot size with an algo ( reverse of grid or martingale )  xenon posted: greetings, I keep trading manually. but also working on coding the new consistant EA s. at least I had able to code a 'Natural Winner' with EURUSD 1 HR chart. here are some info. Take Profit is just in case. 2006-2008-2009-2010-2011-2012 results are good 2007 BE Trend Trading. No Grid!! No Martingale!! Pure trend traidng. Best Profit at BT is ~ 500 PIP. %DD is < 30 Yearly average return is > 25 code is 4000 lines algo is only 2-3 lines. No MA!! NO indicators!! I had coded my own factal algo and then coded fractal group and then created new trend lines. actually system is predecting what will happen next. no worries about slippage spread comission I will give more detailed informatin soon walker. from now I will focus to code the wave I had mentioned. it is not Elliot wave theory. Elliot wave can be good for stocks but not for Curr. I am telling something different. the real wave of the price. if I can code that the rest of the algo can be any thing.
