The question remains: Can anybody show a VERIFIED LIVE account on MyFxBook with at least 5% average monthly profit for AT LEAST 2 YEARS and with less than 25% max. DD using a non-Martingale strategy...?

Yes, indeed. SIM is 'The Man'!

So far nobody else could show a link to a VERIFIED LIVE account on MyFxBook with at least 5% average monthly profit for AT LEAST 2 YEARS and with less than 25% max. DD.

I just wanted to point out that 5% average monthly profit actually would be about 80% monthly return not 60% as you said in an earlier post 1.05^12 = 1.80 = 80% Unless you are pulling the profit out each month which then it would be 60%

As for a verified live account, my account has been running over 2 years, but I don't have the 5% average monthly profit yet or the 25% max DD. With my newest EA, I expect that to change.

My backtest of the latest version of my EA has the 5% monthly profit, but not the DD, if I were to reduce the risk, I could fulfill both criteria. My live account is currently running this version of the EA and it's been a work in progress for over the last 2 years and I'm still improving it when I see a chance to. Just had my most profitable month and December was good too. This EA is based on two MAs and other criteria. Check out the backtest here https://www.myfxbook.com/strategies/m5-88g/32523

Oh, and I found this one to be very interesting and worth watching, if it continues to perform, it will fulfill your criteria I believe. Not sure what the system is like, but it looks good even though each month is steadily decreasing in amount of return, I'm assuming that they probably use a set trade size.

Guys, I'd be careful about the strategies you think to be profitable....in some cases it is actually a shill promoting the broker. According to the broker's site here https://eng.fxclearing.ca/ they look like they are going out of business

Personally I only trust from NFA regulated brokers, particularly the major ones.

YMMV

I have a friend whose been doing that for 6-7 yrs. Consistent profitable trader. Last year his total pip count came to 51K something.. my only complain with him was.. why didn't he go aggressive? i guess it is part of his strategy.

Guys I'm planning on going live with FXSALT in a few weeks because I've enjoyed their demo which is pretty much exactly like their live account (with commissions and all being charged). Does anyone here know if they are a good broker or not? I mean I wouldn't want to lose all my hard-earned money for any other reason other than my own shortcomings when it comes to my trading style.

I have just over 1 year, on my account, Slightly less then 5% a month but i have been slightly inactive through a number of months.

I think to turn $2000 from $5000 is maybe possible once, perhaps even twice but impossible to sustain. This is just gambling, you may have more luck at the roulette tables.

If you are trading then surely what you are looking for is a sustainable return with low managed risk. Its no good if you make 1 million in 1 year then lose it the next.

Money Management is critical, keeping position size small, or you will surely die.

be realistic, the best hedge fund make 30% per year, and the best sites like Zulutrade Auto Trading, just 100 pips per week for very good (around 5000 pips in 1 year), 6 months for very good, it's not even figure dozen people ....... and they are for the most part on a mini lot, or $ 300 for followers, with $ 5,000, you will just be with a lot, and you risk 40 pips per trade or $ 400 each time, after 12 unsuccessful trades, you've blown your account ... I say that with $ 5000, you can expect to earn $ 400 per month to $ 500, or 100 pips a week with a mini lot, 1pip, $ 1 .. 10% per month, it will be huge...

Well said by Mr. Funcky35! In my opinion 10% per month could be a max. goal of any SAFE strategy.

Here is an example of an average 10% per month and SAFE strategy: https://www.myfxbook.com/members/FxMasterGuru/morningstar-i/407015

FX Master Guru,
Is that a live account? What position size do you use and what's your trading style? This is good.

Thanks, Chisha! This EA's algorithm incorporates the main teachings of the famous trading textbooks, so this live forward test is a live test of the teachings of the core trading textbook themselves. So far the Authors of the books were right...

1. Yes, it is a live account with Pepperstone Edge Razor.
2. The positions are self adjusting according to the actual balance. The current risk setting is 0.1 lots per 1000 USD which is OK for a small, medium size account. For a large account I would use 0.07 lots per 1000 USD, which are the settings of my other (recently started) strategy, MorningStar II.

I would argue that it's possible, but very very hard.

I'm working with a trader that is doing a similar thing to what you have asked. I'm actually hoping to recruit them to my trading room and signal service site.

Check out this statement if hers that I uploaded.

She is a manual trader and is amazingly consistent.

Fingers crossed I can get her on board!

Hello,

We handle fully automated trading, and our robots can achieve your goal on short-tern trends trading.

Thank you.
No manual trading can compete with automated trading by intelligent robots. Manual trading is influenced by human emotions, whereas robots have no emotions and can take a 'calculated decision' at any moment.
