Hi all,

Some of you whom have been watching my account may be wondering why it has started to founder - the reason for this is that my Sell EA script doesn't handle market direction change too well. Due to this I stopped it and have put on a new EA that I have been working on that is not so profitable but is more durable when the market changes direction as it does. It is a sell script as well but I have also written a buy script the uses the same trading method.
Both EAs require optimization which I do every 24 hours. The one that has the best results gets run on the currency pair.
Today I am trying the buy script against the AUDUSD as it performed better than the sell. As I said I do not expect the performance off these EAs' to match my last one At least I will be able to sleep at night!
I have read on this forum that 'it is a marathon not a sprint' and I believe this to be true. That is how I will run the race from now on. I also believe that if I had of kept going with my old EA I would be in trouble right now because of the market direction change (or breakout who knows?) for the AUDUSD pair.

All the best and happy trading,

Martin
