50:1 to an extent i like this because it will filter out lot of gamblers and allow talent to prevail. I am ranked #66 at moment. If I didn't have to rush to work, I would be No. 1 Anyhow my goal is to be in top 25 if not winner of contest.

Agree. I'm also glad starting deposit is $50K instead of $100K. Makes the trading overall more realistic, rather than fantasy casino. Look at all the winners of previous contests-- got there because they rolled high...not because they had a good strategy.

The competition this time looks to be more fierce than before. 16% in only 5 hours with 50:1 leverage...

That mean USOIL, UKOIL, GER30, US30, UK100, XAU-GOLD, XAG-SILVER.
If i trade with above, that pips will eligible for competition ? ? ? 😕😕😕

I know right? 😐 The top people seem to have got there by things other than currencies.....look at current #1.....I think a lot of rules were not clarified as they should have been. What good is it to have a Forex trading competition if those who win it aren't even trading currencies?? 🙃

To clarify, all products in the demo are eligible for trading in the contest.

I installed a new platform for the purpose of your competition. Unfortunately, I do not have in the 'market' any symbol. As you may be the reason?

Hi Male,

First, try double-clicking where it says FXCM to see if it will show you the symbols. If not, you might be using a demo that has expired. Go to this link to register a demo for the contest: https://www.myfxbook.com/contests/trading-championship-may-2012/8/rules

Then right click on the Market Watch window and select Show All to see all the symbols.

Enough to know that right-clicking causes all symbols. I registered for the contest and got a login already.
Just do not have any symbols or history, nor in the 'market', which can see on the previous screens. Installing a new installation of the platform once again has the same effect! It never happened to me before this thing with any other installation of other MT4 brokers.
On this your installation, I can not even set up a new demo account outside the competition, because in the choice of account and the currency, I have no choice.

Yes, looks like FXCM hasn't enabled accounts yet - we're trying to find out the cause for the delay.
