Hi,

Can someone pls tell me if my demo trading transaction details will continue to be available to me on myFXbook even after the demo accounts expire ? Because demo accounts with my broker remain active for trading only for 90days.

Thank you.

In this case, I would suggest new traders to use the demo trading service who are offering unlimited demo service! Frankly, only 90 days isn’t enough for general new traders! They are offering limited demo service for observing their trading terminal not for learning.

I agree. 90 days is really not enough. Sometimes you need more time for research, develop your strategy, made your mind, go on holiday ... etc Try another demo accounts - there are many many out there :)
Accept the loss as experience

Yes demo is important. We can't test a strategy on live account to know how the strategy works unless have enough money to loss. It's the demo where we should test any strategy first. If it gives good results in demo we can try on live.

Yes. It is right. 90 days is too short to understand trading and the market.

In most cases, many brokers provide a free demo account with unlimited possibilities.

The demo is account is very helpful to make good strategy and plan and you can test your strategy with demo trading and if you feel now all is perfect you can shift yourself to real trading with real money.

As far as I know, when a demo account expires, it cannot be retrieved. You need to create a new one.

Yeah right buddy!
Do you backtest your strategies on demo account even after starting with real trading?

No need to worry about expiration of demo account, learning are with you always. Open another demo account with any broker and apply strategies there!

when the demo expires i believe it cannot be recovered. one needs to create another account and then start trading. But may be some brokers it can be receoved and used again.

You better find a broker that gives demo trading opportunity for long term. To test a trategy one needs at least few months of demo testing.

I don't personally think that traders have to trade on demo account until it's expired, because they just waste their time. You have to trade on demo like on a real account in order to understand the mechanics of trading activity. You shouldn't open a deal with 5000 points for example, because you perhaps can't afford such amount of money per deal on a real account. So, if your demo is expired then you can find another broker which can offer you more points on a demo account. Nevertheless, you should understand that you shouldn't stay too long on demo because it can literally ingulf you and you won't be able to trade on a real one.

The new trader should use the demo platform but it should be unlimited. It is not possible to develop skills in 90 days.

Skills should be developed by trading on demo platforms with unlimited time. It is possible to control emotions.

It is frustrating that many broker limit demo accounts to 14 days now. That is too short to learn anything
