You should learn from different sites. Check google for the following: Forex trading lessons Forex trading tech analys Tehnical analysis Learn not just when not tor trade but everything else. Trade Demo for months and then, go live with at leat 1000 $, less will end you up loosing. For your original question: Dont trade on late friday, dont trade when big news are coming out - you can check these on forexfactory, yahoofinance or here. |

Agree with TremtJohn...no new trades late Friday, no new trades on the Monday opening (wait at least 1-4 hours to let the market settle), be aware of significant news releases (check myfxbook Economic Calendar for upcoming news releases), and look to the London-New York session for best trading time in general.
Keep it simple! |

No trading on Sunday, unless there is a very clear trend moving.

What days you choose to not trade should be based on your trading style and strategy.
I usually avoid Fridays and days of bank minutes or Interest Rate decisions. Believe it or not, some of my best trades have been on Sunday evening
Everything should be as simple as it can be, but not simpler. |

Great peak hours to trade
2-530am (eur opens) 8-11am (us opens) EST Be careful of NFP, FOMC and interest rates days, can get whipsawed. Let the market come to you |

EST is Eastern Standard Time, for the US east coast, place of interest namely New York. You must be meaning CST/HKT/SGT. And also 8-11pm (not am) Consistency above all. |
