First I start trading in Indian stock market 7yeras back and I first learn about forex by 2010.In beginning I hesitate because of lots of online money frauds. But One day came across a website www.100forexbrokers.com,In this website I knew a few things about forex market and brokers and their offers.First of all I used to trade with free which is very less to trade but with it I learn basic things and terms and also how to trade with MT4.I trade wit FBS broker and used their no deposit $5 account.Initially I gain some profit and later due to lack of knowledge I lost whole amount. After that I deposit my own mot ney around $25 and start trading and again gain and later lost, because of insufficient knowledge specially about effect of economical news around world.

I am trading forex since last 2 and half years,I would like to share my experience here.My first advice to new traders is to learn about basic thing before jump and start trading.First of all look for a genuine broker and registered a demo account with them and practice on it for atleast 6month.By this way you become familiar with basics of forex market and also gain experience and confidence, many broker run lots of demo contests and its a very good opportunity to learn and practice and if you win then you have a chance to trade for real without investing anything from your own pocket.I won more than $4000 till date and withdraw successfully. My first win was FBS 999 demo contest where I won $555(First prize) and used it in my real trade account and withdraw $1665 successfully to my bank account.Because of their contest rule I can withdraw only 300%(including prize money) after real trade.

I'm an Indian based in UAE. Trading Forex since 2002.
Guys, if you think its a rosy rosy business, you're mistaken.
Its tempting when you see the profits. But always know that there's an opposite to these profits too.
infact when i started trading, I just lost lots until last 3-4 years when I seriously undertoood the importance of money management.

Tip: Always make sure you've proper money management. Use Stop loss. You may have confidence that the market will come one day to your level. so why the stop loss. trust me. It will. But after the account is wiped off. So have a system with clear stops and exit strategies.
Also, be careful of brokers. Many are fakes or rather they are called bucket broker. They know that 90% people loose cos of greediness and lack of strategies and so they act as money makers and work against you. So proper broker selection is important too.
Hope these tips helps.

BTW, I'm managing accounts too. If anyone interested, please see below and check the live account update. thanks.

Thanks in advance & Happy Trading!

You are absolutely right. Don't invest money into forex from your pocket. Demo Demo Demo until you are perfect. When you are perfect you can win a contest for sure. Then you will get money to trade. Now you have good strategy to trade. Also you know how powerful your strategy after all you are the winner of the contest.

BTW riaz can you share your system or any hints, links anything?.. so we poor traders can also try something out from this greedy market.

to open lot size that is not available in drop down menu you just needs to enter manually the lots you wish to trade. Highlight the current lot size and manually enter 100 or 250 etc...
