Frist i have to say i love Mac, and there is no way i would change it for a PC, we all mac users have found limited options for trading here having to use parallels, VMware, boothcamp, i and tried all of them, but there seems to be another option that has been here for a while, i didn´t notice until now and i wanted to share it, and for everyone place it in some forums or anywhere so we all can get advantage an promote more developing in apps for MAC.
Crossover!!!! Thats the name of the game, well the program, dont install windows, and in a couple of minutes you have a complete operating metatrader!!, you can watch tutorails on youtube. but here i leave you the links where you can have a free trial and then buy it, and a youtube video to watch it!!! http://www.codeweavers.com/products/crossover/ Just look at the right side of the screen and there is everything you need to start using it!! By the way doesnt consume as much resources as paralles and vmware, and i believe some other platforms are compatible, check and you tell me, what about forex.com, gftforex, or other brokers platforms!!

You can do it with Wineskin for free (Wineskin is a free program like crossover) if you know how to do it, Check this out

i tried crossover now. works. but does anybody know how Experts Advisers work and where to put them? (I mean on the mac of course)
Wineskin seems not so easy to use, but maybe I´m gonna try that as well.... |

I don't know about crossover but with wineskin is easy to add Expert Advisors check this video for Wineskin it may be the same

mmmm i dont know about experts advisers, not a programmer, so we could need some help in here, by the way all other platforms are compatible, dont run as well as metatrader but is an option, or maybe cause my mac is a little old lol, well se you everyone

Wine works for me (current Macbook Pro) and the softwares free.

Yes, the EA's work with WineSkin. Right Click on the application created, choose 'show Package Content' and then go to C-drive->Program Files like you do on your Windows. You can add your indicators, EA's etc like you do on Windows.
