Hello,

I would like to ask what hardware requirement such as CPU processors and RAM needed to run 40 MT4 simultaneously? I'm using:

- Only 1 EA per MT4.
- I'm not using any indicator.
- Using only 1 chart per MT4.
- Using only stock templates.
- Not using any script.

I've attached a picture for the memory usage of my 8 MT4 terminal that have been running for 1 month.

So i would like to ask what hardware requirements that i could open 40 MT4 simultaneously?
Thank you so much.

Guys,

with proper hardware you can run 32 MT4 instances.

32 is the limit imposed by metaquotes.

I suggest to use dedicated server with at least 16 GB RAM

Thank you @togr and @MountainKing okay i got it 32 is the maximum istance can run simultaneously. I've made some research for dedicated server and vps. Can you give me suggestion for which dedicated server is good? Because some of them charge quite expensive for the server and setup fees and turns out i can't afford it. And if i use 8 X CPU core vps, can i run 20 instance simultaneously? Because it seems like i'm using more cpu cores instead of RAM.

Why not install Hyper-V in your server and spin a few virtual machines? Each machine can handle 32 instances..

That's because they run the instances of the application in a virtual servers. Think of it like this, you have a cup with coffee in it, you fill the cup up, and you get another cup and fill that one up.

The server is the cup, and the coffee is the MT4 instance. When the cup is full, you just add another cup.

So you are running a maximum number of MT4 client terminals across multiple virtual servers.
If it looks too good to be true, it's probably a scam! Let the buyer beware.

Hyper-V is Microsoft ssytem to run multiple virtual computers on single physical computer.
So you need dedicated serveer
Hyper V
and internet connection for each virtual machine

In my case i setup 4x ( 16 core HT 64GB Ram ) cheap servers to run my optimizations. Each server has 2 VMs, each VM has 24 MT4 instances. I have set Hyper-V to allocate all cores to both VMs and split the memory.. Works great; with automated snapshots i can re-start optimizations when the server oes down for any reason.
