Oh man I just typed you a long reply and clicked back on my mouse and lost it all. FFS!!!!!

Here goes again.
---------------------------------------
That is fairly normal, don't get too excited it has its bad days too.
You can get my version of the EA here
http://mtabonewebforex.9.forumer.com/index.php?showtopic=136&st=0
about 4 or 5 posts down.
I urge you not to use this on a live account unless you can sit there watching it 24/7, the machine will need to run 24/7 too, it your mt4 client is restarted the EA will lose where it is. I repeat, I am not a professional programmer and it is not to be trusted with real money, I only developed it to prove the theory works. Prove to yourself it works with it on demo, then I recommend you get Matt's version, you can try it out on the monthly subscription, I think it is highly likely the EA'a profit will cover the subscription cost.

If you download my version use these setting to match my results as close as possible.
7 Pairs
EURCAD, AUDNZD, AUDUSD, EURCHF, EURUSD, USDJPY, EURJPY.

Input settings:
5 digit
TakeProfit: 0.05
StopLoss: 0.0025
InitialStopLoss: 0.045
Multiplier: 1
Lotsize: 0.05
Pips: 0.01
ReverseSignal: True
DPips: 0.015
DTakeProfit: 0.015
DMultiplier: 1
ExtraOrders:2

3 Digit, eg. all jpy pairs
TakeProfit: 5
StopLoss: 0.25
InitialStopLoss: 4.5
Multiplier: 1
Lotsize: 0.05
Pips: 1
ReverseSignal: True
DPips: 1.5
DTakeProfit: 1.5
DMultiplier: 1
ExtraOrders:2

With these setting you should be mimicking my results very closely, although mine is set to wind down for the weekend, whereas yours cannot as that is not part of my version of the EA.
Hope this helps.

Ben,

Thank you, really you are very kind, I appreciate the way you help me so much...

Let´s see:

*My broker is 4 digits and 2 digits, the settings should be the same?

*As I see in my a demo account of my broker, the spread of the demo account is not the same as the spread of my real account in near all pairs, and this would alter the results. However, just to see how it goes, it´s just ok!

*The problem is to keep this EA running 24/7, just because I only have one conecction and I need to trade Live 2 hours a day... The EA would lost where he is If I only change the demo account to Live account, without switching off the MT4? I mean, switching from demo to live in the platform.

*What do you think if friday morning I try to close all trades manually, or just thursday night? I don´t want to eat the Sunday GAP, you know...

Questions, questions and questions... Sorry Ben!red

Your solution is to install another mt4 in a different folder, use it for demo only. You can have many mt4 clients running at the same time, although I found bugs when you get 14 clients.

you see the inputs are in the format of 0.05 for 500 pips so it will work 4 or 5 digits no problem, for this reason the 2/3 digit ones have to be different to 500 pips is 5.0.

I have the EA set to stop opening initial trades at thursday 2300 hours and close any with more than $30 profit, then 10 minutes before my broker closes, it is set to close all sets with $1+ and carry over any negative trades which remain, hopefully none.

If you are trialling for a week, closing for Friday won't matter, if you plan to trial longer then it does, try closing manually, see how that suits you.

this thread is dedicated to this method. The more ideas we get, the more bugs we iron out.

Hello Ben!

It´s me again... Alright, I´ve downloaded another client for a Demo account, but the minimum deposit had to be 10.000, so, the lotsize I think it should be 0.5 just for mimick a 1000 acount with 0.05... Hope you get me...

Okay, I only need to put the settings and wait till tomorrow... Should I begin when the market opens or on monday morning?

I would have it set up and running, ready for market open. You are using my version or Matt's?

I know how you feel, I get so frustrated and impatient when the market is closed, there's no need for it to be closed these days, it still moves 24/7
