Hi Gerald,

I'm assuming that this has now become your main trading account?

Any news on the set-up? Is it similar to what you have hinted to in the Blessing forum - i.e. Blessing 3.8.1 running on multiple pairs (4 - 6 ?) and all proportioned equally?

Would be great to know the set files used and the Portion settings that you are using for each.

Cheers,

This is what used to be the FXCM account. 6 B3.8 pairs and one EURUSD B3.7-6. All on 10% PortionPC, 100%DD. And I will adjust the PortionPC to increase as needed. I will also increase lot sizes as I see fit according to trend and probabilities. Lots is set to 0.01 with MM=true on all except USDCAD which is false. Those who know me know that I don't like MM on, so I will start with it on and see how it goes, and change as I see fit.

The pairs I am using are, the 4 recommended with EURUSD being the agressive kind, EURCHF agressive from the post and the USDCAD that Ratz reworked. NONE of my pairs have FMC=1, all changed to 3. The Rest is default.

This same account also has Megadroid v1.30 which adds to the account and trades little. This opened up this morning, and so far no trades on any pair except the two EURUSD. I'm guessing that will change as the US market opens up.

Ohh, I had a MT4 crash last night, which accounts for positions being closed in the negative. bad start...Hope this ForexVPS doesn't crash MT4 often!!!!!

What?? -400?? Man, I'm glad all this happens while I sleep! :)
But yeah, Megadroid is very opportunistic and patient. It opens, sits, waits and kind-of-like fishing. But, I don't know how it does it but it either wins big, or it loses a little, but never big loses. I trust it man, too bad it trades so little.

MaryJane, read the EA comments, what you saw is Megadroid with a 30% risk, so the lots are big...2-5 so far. What's up with the ; before your Ls? Is it to make them sound like Rs? LOL
I'm not sure what you were hoping to enjoy but this account is very low risk...good luck watching! I'm all open babe.

Yeha - Gerald... was showing -400. Luckily it's closed at $17 profit. Perhaps you're risking too much on the lot size with that one? 2.3 Lots is a very large trade...

Looks like your Blessing 3.8 is finally started trading well. On my nano account all Blessing pairs are working like a charm (apart from USDJPY). If those trades EVER close then might be the longest trades in Blessing history - been open for nearly 4 months now...

No actually, the lots are set by the MM, and doing a backtest or demo, it performs great, so, I'm trusting it. It wins 90% of the trades.

Any idea how its calculated a 99% draw down for your account? Seemed a bit odd to me..

I just submitted this as a bug report, my VPS had a hiccup last night: It was showing a zero balance and had not sent an update for 4 hrs after market opening. And I could not log in :( Scared me shitless. I could not even go to forexVPS.com as their website was down too...and no real person to talk to on the phone...mhhh...
And then I logged in later, still scared and it was running fine...and sending updates again. I have no idea what happened but messed up myfxbook...

SO, I don't know...but I never went below 98% so far!

Ohh, another ForexVPS snafu...I opened another instance of the Remote Desktop, and then closed the logged off one when I realized, BUT I started getting double trades...you can check my history and see for yourself...it was odd and took me a while to figure out how to shut down the ghost RDS...I'm starting to get jittery with ForexVPS...we'll see.

Ohh and my GoMarkets MT4 crashes with FVPS, 3 times so far in a week...no way to run B3 like this...makes me paranoid!

Woah... That doesn't sound good! I've noticed a few problems with the stats on MyFXbook, but I think it mostly comes down to the web browser caching and the need to refresh every page once or twice to get the true picture.

With regards to the ForexVPS - that sounds pretty bad service when you can't even browse to their website or login to your VPS! Must have been one major power outtage or something serious to make that happen. The only thing that I have found about the VPS's is the need to always connect via RDP and using the '/console' switch. This should prevent you from starting more than one instance of the 'Admin' user. I got caught out myself with a few double trades when I moved to a different Windows machine, and the command line switch to connect using console has been changed to '/admin'. That tripped me up..

Strangely enough - my Alpari MetaTrader program has crashed about 3 times so far. Not sure why. Not really sure how I can monitor this easily without checking up on Myfxbook or logging onto the VPS every night...

Also noticed that you've ramped EURCHF up to a starting lot of 0.05 ? Is that correct? Do have to say though - this is shaping up to be probably the best and most risk diversified Blessing portfolio that I have found so far. Brilliant results - Can't wait to shift my USDJPY drawdown and practically re-start my account like this.

I'm also working on a AUDUSD set file for Blessing. I'm finding it quite hard to get a consistent result but really want to get it working. AUDUSD has the shortest spreads on GoMarket account - ~1.4 pips - so it could be a good earner...

Glad you like the set up. Yes, I realized EURCHF was a money making machine and increased its share at the cost of others. Especially when some are pretty stagnant like USDCAD which trades very little but making a small profit that adds up. I like having some charts producing less but lowering the DD. My plan is to increase lots when DD is low is decrease as some get stuck...MM is something that I don't trust as I always say.

Good luck with AUDUSD, what we need is something that works like EURCHF, but for that we need a currency with long candles that moves sideways...hard to find...

Not sure what the bug was, i reported it as a bug and got an e-mail saying they had fixed it, so must be on this end.

Thank you, impressive indeed, but that scares me :O It is just too good...I don't want to lose it all so hopefully it is not too aggressive.

I dont think it is aggressive as the results are consistent.. long way to go and tweak as it goes..
