The only instructions are the ones that come with FWRC. It claims to be five different scalping strategies in one robot and also claims to be trying to catch trend reversals.

LMD hint: i read somewhere an interview of the author ...he spoke mainly about time trading and money management and high probability chart pattern... that's maybe why it doesnt make a lot of trades...

Testing 1,5 day HiRider on a demo (10,000 deposit) micro lots, built in money management
 only winning trades so far...

HR 'scoop': Testing 1,5 day HiRider on a demo (10,000 deposit) micro lots, built in money management
 only winning trades so far...

HR: different built in strategies:
it will buy or sell with target 5-12 pips when extreme move detected and reversal expected
it uses also CCI and STO and yes, opens both sides trades (beware it can ruin you :)) when markets are quiet..
other strategies will use reversal patterns with ATR CCI STO

have a good day

Found this post on a forum, enjoy

' I have bought it;
Here some experience after running 1 day:
- it is compound from the top 5 finalists LMDMulticurrency, HiRider, SuperVolcano, StraashaSystem, Negative Correlation.
- HiRider is a scalper. For your Info it has TP ~ 7 - 12 pips vs SL ~ 210 pips,
so a risk:reward = ~ 30:1 ; This is suicid !! for small accounts up to 1000 -2000 $. It places ~ 10 trades at once. In my 1 day account it won 10 eurusd orders. I think it is not so more different than Donchian Scalper/ Multichannel RSI scalper in this forum if we speak about scalping methods.
- Straasha System is somekind of martingale; there is no so much info in their docs about it, but as we know, a martingale, almost always will blow up the account; so read 'suicide' also. It won 2 trades on eurgbp if I remember correct in 1 day in my account.
- NegCorrelation, its name says all; works but with very few trades; has a reasonable SL/TP ~ 100:100 pips but it aims also for small profit alos, eg for 10 -20 pips as far as I saw in my account.
- SuperVolcano appears a more realistic robot; Has produced 1 trade in a day here and won it also. However, it places
the orders without SL. So, if your ISP network provider or electric provider works like bulshits providers and you get disconnected from the network, the order remain under no control, so the chances to loose it increases.
- LMD Multicurrency is the best in my oppinion. From their manual pdf it appears it is built using chart patterns; no indicators. The author says the chart patterns are more stable to the market changing conditions; It places orders with SL/TP ~ 4:1 but not for all, using daily chart. The orders are placed at the start of the day taking into consideration the previous 4-7 days H/L and some patterns. In my 1 day of trading it lost 4 trades. Lucky with me I used only 0.01 lots .
Also, LMD asks to have opened one chart for all pairs under trading but the robot must be attached only to one. So, for 7 pairs, 7 charts must be opened. They say if the charts are not opened a 'zero divide' error will appear and no orders will be placed. Since I am a developer with 10yrs experience, this 'zero divide' error is a programming error coming from this, example:
int a = 2; double b = 0.1; a = b; double c = 3/a; You would think the 'c' result is 30, but it isnt; 3/a will provide 'zero divide' error because 'a' is 0 and not 0.1. This because a = b makes 'a' zero and not 0.1 since 'a' is an integer.
So, shortly, it appears there are programming errors in the robot; I think there are also other errors.
Another shortly, they provide in documentation some backtests for above ones. What I saw, is no much different from what exists in this forum; so keep trying here on this forum to get better and more stable robots.
Dont get so excited; I think the finalists had some more luck than the other compettitors; they also used high risk in competition as I see.
Per totally, the Fusion appears to be an enough good robot having in the view the live results from their site, but , personally , I think it must be used only for some large accounts, eg, deposit > 5000 $ using reasonable risk.
I think also you must have a very stable network connection, large broadband, powerfull pc and power-off protection.
Since I dont have a large deposit, I stopped using it after 1 day of trading and I will wait to re-use it until I will have at least 5k in account. '

Anyone who is following both this and my FXCM IB account will by now have noticed that there are different trades coming through. Now, here's the interesting thing.

Whenever a trade is placed on the FXCM IB platform that the Alpari demo platform misses the Alpari platform is generating a 'cannot login [ No Connection ]' message.

Coincidence? I think it's unlikely, looks to me like Alpari are running the robot and dropping the connection every time a trade is triggered by it.

Hi Steve,

That explains why HiRIDER doesn't work on my mine, both as a stand alone as part of fusion.

I'll use the FXCM and ATC accounts instead to test this.

I agree, it is appallling, however, it's strange they should do that. I do scalp with them, and have not had any problems, on tight take profits or tight stop losses.

CC.
