Don't know what happened this month. Overall there doesn't seem to have been much growth, 10% in nearly 3 months of trading with 16% drawdown; doesn't look like a very successful system anymore! Maybe I invested at the wrong time? Hope that things recover quickly, I can see by the balance chart that people have started taking their money out already... I know you will do your best for us investors Telmo. Thank you.

Hi,

As all know Foreign exchange trading is a high risk investment. Trading in the foreign exchange markets on margin carries a high level of risk, and may not be suitable for all individuals. At OTS Fx our first priority is preserve investors capital. Last month we had a losing month, although we are back in track again and this month we perform our best month since we begin trading the new PAMM account. The trading system remains the same, because is already stress tested on the market for at least 5 years, with minor changes in the Portfolio and Money Management program.

The Major Error in investors is when system enters in DrawDown, purely change the all system, and that will only lead to the statistics that more then 95% of traders lose money, which is totally true.

To finish, yes OTS Fx equity as been somehow volatile, but markets are in high volatile times, what is most important is OTS Fx investors are making money and are happy.

Don´t expect see here like 100% in one month, we don´t aim to those gains, because the risk to get those is extremely high, and our money management doesn´t contemplate those high risks.

What everyone can expect is consistent and average returns of 10/15% month, with DD not exceeding the max we have faced till now.

Best Regards,

OTS Fx

10-15% per month would be great. We're not getting that this Summer, but the account is certainly up right now. OTS decided to sit a couple weeks out during the US market crash, which I was very glad to see, as I have noticed that during especially volatile weeks, OTS has made some missteps.

Volatility in this account continues -- this week, OTS quickly lost 20%, then made 23% over the next few days, closing at its highest level since I invested. 20% is a serious drawdown, so beware, investors. If you need an account where you can be certain to withdraw at the 'average gain' this might not be for you. But if you are investing in the mid to long term, it might be a good choice. I invested in May 2011 and am currently up just over 20%. That is an excellent return -- if I were to withdraw now.

Want to reiterate that OTS is extremely professional in its communications. So far FXCM has proved a reliable brokerage as well -- despite some serious crime going on in the industry lately (fraud etc). So you need only be concerned with their trading ability, which is how it should be! I feel fortunate to have them as a partner in this challenging economic climate.

Hi MonkeyBars,

I appreciate a lot your comments and i can only say that as always i make impossibles to provide best service to OTS Fx investors. Markets are not easy since June, very volatile, range, etc... but i never excuse poor performance with the markets behaviour.

The 10-15% average profit per month is total achievable and is our Target on the mid term, but OTS Fx will never get more exposed to market to achieve that levels, putting in risk a very high DD.

To finish i just want to thank the confidence investors put in OTS Fx, and help everyday building this project.

Best Regards,

OTS Fx

Hi All,

Is important to explain the Drawdown we have faced on accounts. This was due system behaviour and internal factors that are currently resolved.

We are total responsible for the Drawdown (even with the internal factors, that we couldn´t control till today ).
After the Emergency Stoploss was activated all trading was halted until further notice from clients decision regarding accounts.

The internal factors, cause a very high leverage in the middle of trading cycle and subsequent High Drawdown, which forces us to close all positions and cut the losses, avoiding more risk.

We took all measures for situations like this never be repeated, and that´s the reason we have changed min. deposit, withdrawals procedures and other things.

Regards,

Internal Factors? Can you explain this in greater detail? High leverage is result of Averaging Down?
Is this an EA on autopilot? or
An EA controlled with Manual intervention, or purely mechanical system (manual)?

What measures did you take to prevent this from happening again?
