O K will wait for your answer, this is a worry if its from my fx book, it puts their credibility on the line as well, who do you trust.??
The FX market is full of scammers, to many for that matter.
That being the case the one who stands out over time is the one who does not sink to their level, in the long run its as you are running your own business, the public can watch your every move, because of that you have to be extra careful.

Sounds better, I see FX Blue has updated. I will follow up next week, looking at joining, but need to be sure that Doug follows through.
He seems to stand out so far. Like his set ups.

If you go into myfxbook and do a custom analysis for NZDUSD, the closed trades in question do appear. But looking at the myfxbook as a whole they do not. Very strange, since the NZDUSD analysis should be a subset of the whole. This is a bug in myfxbook, not misconduct by the ea authors/purveyors.

Yes exactly, it's not being hidden, just bug in Myfxbook

Hello! A guy at FPA pointed out that some of the first trades opened by the system in 12/2013 actually couldn't have been opened considered the account size back then. After I checked myself I realized that he might be right considered that there were 3 NZDUSD trades with 8 full lots each open at a time (even held over night) with an account size of about $5,000 only. Don't get me wrong please, I'm thinking about trying the EA myself but wanna do my due diligence first. So I'm happily proven wrong here. Another thing I stumbled upon at FPA was this thorough test of the system with the person doing it coming to the conclusion that the EA is about to hit a huge losing streak eventually and I'd be happy if someone here being more a nerd when it comes to EAs than myself could tell me if he's right or not https://twathochties.blogspot.co.uk/2014/11/rev-trader-pro-should-it-stay-or-should.html

I DID find, finally, someone (a James, commenting over on Birts EA reviews) who had done extensive test analysis: https://twathochties.blogspot.co.uk/2014/11/rev-trader-pro-should-it-stay-or-should.html?m=1
I comment on that Birt thread that use of Walk Forward Analyzer was still due as Doug does occasional optmizations. However, WFA is now only available as only a trial version (I don't know why sales stopped, due to incompatibility of v600+ versions of mt4?). So work would have to be done in 14 days. Any purchasers game?
In meantime, I'm thankful for James' work because my almost jumping in to buy is now a 'hold everything!' Lol.

WOW! Interesting analysis, batchboy. But my point is precisely that the system has gone through a few revisions with new set files in just the very short time it's been around. Testing the system over a period of years with the same set files is sort of like my now dead father who wore the same shirt he'd worn since he was 16 complete with cigarette burns. It made for a humorous video at his 'life celebration lunch' when he passed. We made a video showing all the various appearances of 'the shirt' at special times in his life. It was part of the craziness that made him who he was. But that's it. Craziness.

The point is Doug has been updating the setfiles and parameters. I guess buying into this is a bet he'll continue doing so.

Guys, in the last 6 months this EA has only been doing around 8% ROI per month, and for the price its just not worth it. There are many other EA's on the market that are not only cheaper but also have a better ROI.

It is simply not possible to have 3 trades at 8 lots each on a $5k account with 1:400 leverage and held overnight, which is another huge discrepancy, so please do your research.

Exactly the guy who wrote that article is an idiot. As I've over the months / years updated the system. He's comparing latest update / settings that are not designed for 5 / 10 years ago... it's idiotic. I plan to continue providing updates along the way too.

Interesting about Poppa, guess that's one way to be remembered, be over-the-top odd. (As if being remembered is a purpose worthwhile, teehee).
Yes, in the final analysis, 'buying into', couldn't have said it better. Like buying into whether that story will go viral.....some do as witnessed by tv shows like 'Inside Edition'.

One small point... Last time I checked, Doug was managing a $200K+ account with this same ea. That's an incentive to keep it tuned and up to date, I think.

WFA (walk forward analysis) is the professional route, it wasn't designed into StrategyQuant for nothin'! Unfortunately, WFA in it is only for strategies developed in SQ. WFA, only way to scientifically know for sure. (Since most EA's 'ain't gonna' be good forever as-is)

Anyone else get losing trades on AUDUSD dated 1/1/15? I also have open trades form today on AUDUSD. All of these trades are not showing up on REV's myfxbook so not sure what 's going on.

Guys, so far it doing good for me. Dec 2014 generated 23.8% profits. Lot sizes used by Doug for the 4 currency pairs might be too aggressive for most people, but end day, it up to individual acceptable risk. For me, I setting same fixed lot size for all 4 pairs. Base on my settings, I might not be getting that high returns, but I'm happy to have Doug system generating monthly average 10 - 20% returns for me.

I don't believe a system with the same rules and settings can run well through out the years. Market changes all the time. With Doug continuous updating the system, adapting to the market condition especially now is the beginning 2015, I'm sure we can stay in profit as we battle the months and years to come.

I think this whole system is a scam and those $200k are monopoly money, ie imaginary money... I found a good review here https://www.jltrader.com/2015/01/02/dont-buy-the-hype-rev-trader-pro/
