With the LBO the minimum safe deposit is $300 per .01 lot traded on a mini IBFX account or $3000 on a standard.'Safe' is a relative term with a Martingale - anything can happen. 😎

The original EA and instructions can be found here. I did not code it or invent it. But I have found over the years that the best results come from letting the EA open trades and close them manually depending on market conditions.

Here is a copy of a recent post I placed on the above FF thread. I am hoping to find a programmer to make some adjustments to this EA.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Greetings everyone!

It has been sometime since I have posted, but I am hopeful that someone who is familiar with this strategy and the coding within would be willing to assist me. Using the v1.3b version of the EA which I can provide, I would like to find someone that could change some of the code for me. I have made the request from the original programmer, but I think he is busy as I have not heard from him for sometime. He would be perfect as it's his coding.

I wanted the StartTime, EndTime, and SessionEndTime fields to be changed from time values to calculations where number of candles are chosen instead of a time value.

When placed on a chart, it immediately creates the box and be open for trading with the following user defined variables in place of the current time variables.

StartTime would be ‘x’ number of candles in the past from current candle when EA is loaded on a chart (default 8 candles)
EndTime would be current candle (if 0) or ‘x’ number of candles in the past (default 1 for previous candle close)
SessionEndTime would be’x’ number of candles in the future from current candle

Once the EA is placed on a chart, it will follow the rules of the EA as it is written. Once the SessionEndTime is reached, it will no longer trade until it is reloaded on the chart.

What I was noticing that when letting it run on it’s own, there would be times when conditions were not good for trading. I would rather watch for periods of stability in the market and load the EA manually and let it trade for that period of time in which I loaded it. I hope that made sense.

Let me know what you think and thank you,

I am willing to hire the programmer to perform this. I would rather 'keep it in the family' with someone who is already familiar and we can share it on this thread if my theory is correct, than to have to pay someone to write it from scratch.

I am trading this and my results can be found here: https://www.myfxbook.com/members/ibth...reakout/485805

I call it my own LBO to differentiate from the posted EA only because I am having to close the trades manually and correct some of the false re-entries myself. I believe if it can be loaded manually as described above, it could be traded more profitably.
