HAT_Trading posted: Why we cannot see your amount to trade , it's a secret? No, but the amount traded is not required to evaluate the profitability from a trading system. The published 'Thor II live' is a small account (few hundred USD), on other accounts i trade trade with 10-15k. These accounts are not published as i use on this accounts systems which are not offered to other traders. Is possible share your real account on Investor password for few days ? No. This is a fully confirmed myfxbook account. The published results are directly received from the broker server. Therefore i dont see any reason why i should share logins to my trading account with traders i dont know personally. Is Thor II anf Shark 7.0 same? ...becuase in comparision = trades are same (same time, date ...) No. Thought, they trade sometimes during the same time (expanded volatility), they use completely different logic to determine entry and exit points. When you compare them in detail you will see that quite often Thor opens a long trade while Shark opens a short trade and 15 seconds later all orders are closed in profit. Very impressive Alexander!
![]() I just compared the live trading results from Thor and other super scalpers and it looks like Thor is a rising super star. As i am a big fan from scalpers i started to write my own reversal scalper but to be honest the results are not very good. Could you point me in the right direction? Rodrigez Hi Moreno, yes, Thor is doing well and i am certain it will keep doing very well. The last two month where difficult for scalpers but Thor handled the rather difficult market conditions as it should be. Could you point me in the right direction? Most important is that you find pattern where the market is predictable. In other words, you need to know EXACTLY when to trade, how much you loose in case you are wrong and how much you win in case you are right. After that, you need to make sure that your strategy is robust. That means you should use in sample data for optimization and out of sample data (at least 24 month) to make sure your logic is not curve fitted. After that start testing on small live accounts and demo accounts. During the process you should collect all ticks. Otherwise you will be not able to run comparative back tests. Monitor slippage, execution time, spread and volume. Rinse and repeat until you have a winner. :) Pecunia non olet. :) |

Hi Alexander
below a passage from your web page. the question is how & where do you get those level2 data ( DOM ) on MT4. walker 'Now, I bet you're wondering how is it possible to know what other trader doing right now. The answer? Level 2 data, which are also known as “order book”. Level 2 data allows you to analyze, in real time – how much traders are buying and selling, the price at which they are willing to do so and the actual buy and sell volume.' you need extreemly streched price for reversal trades.
this may help. on the other hand buy a commercial one with real money FT instead of coding. walker. Thanks As for the broker, we are happy with Armada Market 'Exchange' account. So we recommend them for our systems. The logic of Shark is different in comparison with Thor. Its entries and trailing of pending orders are based on a completely different patterns. Pecunia non olet. :) |
