Max risk 1% per trade, NFA FIFO Compliant, 50% win rate - 2:1 R/R applied to all orders to allow for slippage, live account, verified, 5-10 mins a day and no robot making trading decisions, i.e. I pick my own trades based on solid fundamentals.
Basically I just wanted to say that Ive done this by simplifying trading, and applying BASIC fundamental analysis when picking each trading pair.... I use no indicators, and no tools other than an app that allows me to place orders ahead of time without them going live until i want them to, and Ransquawk for building my daily fundamental picture... thats it....
I guess the point im trying to make is that fundamentals is make trading life so much easier... i'm happier because i spend a lot less time at the screen and my clients are happy as im making them more money and their equity curves are looking much better.
All im looking for in this post is one thing... and thats to inspire technical traders to at least consider adding some simple to their approach when it comes to choosing pairs and trades - the results make it worthwhile.
On that note - im off for a day on the golf course!

I'm still very new to the game so I'm shooting 106s - got some g25 irons which have made a big difference

Am looking at the G30 irons right now... have the G25 driver and it's great...
My system trades very infrequently... but high probability and high risk:reward per trade (avg about 1:8) so 6 months might not be enough... we'll see 2 of the trades closed on that account would have gone on to full profit, but I closed them before the weekend close. So that 19% should be about 28-30% if I didn't intervene...

Awesome - ive been thinking about a driver upgrade - i have the Taylormade Burner 2.0 but had to get it customized somewhat - i.e. new shaft with shorter length (45' rather than 46.5') and counter balanced... made a big difference to my slice in terms of improvement but my max distance is about 245 yards (dunno how good or bad that is).
In terms of irons, from what ive heard and read, there isn't any difference between the the G25/30 apart from a tiny variation to the toe balance - ive had a go and they feel the same so id go G25 - but if you're shooting under 80 you'll be better off with the i25, or maybe even the s55 surely as I would think anything single figures handicap wise needs something more bladey for some more improvement?
Im working to a handicap still - have a couple of cards ready though :)
