I see this was already answered, but I felt it would be ok to add a few more comments.
MetaTrader4 always displays the BID price. That is the price at which you enter a Short, or close a Long trade. You can have MT4 show the ASK price as well: select a chart, click F8 (Properties), then check 'Show Ask line'. Also keep in mind the spread is variable, and it can easily go above the 'normal' values when news is released. He who thinks he can, and he who thinks he cannot, are both right. ~ Henry Ford |
