    Hi - Just wanted to check whether v4 is also not compatible with Alpari UK due to the GMT offset issue mentioned above? Thanks.

As far as I know, Ea should run OK on Alpairi.

    Hi wackena - just wish to add my congratulations and thanks for posting your 'design' on this forum.

Being fairly new to forex, I also plan to run the EA on a demo account - my current EA is running on a GM offset = 1, so I will run it on this setting unless your next posting advises otherwise.

Kind regards

EA does not have GMT OffSet variable. I have not tested EA on all brokers, but should run OK with default settings

Hello,
I have installed in MT4 AVAFX, and trades are pretty much the same as in your mybookfx. Some fills are a bit different, I have a question, do you close manually when system is in good profit ? I also wanted to ask, I see it works as a martingale, since averages down and/or up on USDCHF and EURUSD. Thank you Mr. Wackena.

Hi Wackena,
Great results with your EA, I must say! wink
I have a question regarding backtesting it, and I hope you could help me. I have downloaded the EA from the Yahoo Group, mentioned earlier in the thread, and have tried to backtest v2, v3, and v4. However, I don't get any trades because of 'OrderSend error 131, invalid trade volume'.

I tried to backtest it on FxPro. They have a 5 digits price feed (eg. 1.37161), and their minimum lot size is 0.1 lot. Could you please tell me what settings I need to use when backtesting your EA? red

Thanks in advance! lol

Best regards,
Yonex

So far, this has been total automated trading. I have not tried manual intervention, so I can not advise effect on any potential trading cyclic changes.

Appears broker is not accepting minimum lot step (0.01) EA is using. If your broker minimum lot step is 0.1, the set AccountType=1.

Thanks for your reply! smiley

In v2, I tried to set AccoutType=1, but I still get OrderSend error 131.
I also tried to set Lots=0.1, and MM=0.

In v3, I set Lots=0.1, MM=0, AccountType=1, BrokerPermitsFractional Lots=False, but I still get error 131.

I also tried to set AccountType=0, but that didn't help. cry

Any suggestions? red

Try this:
BrokerPermitsFractitrue.
Lots=0.1
MM=0
AccountType=1

If this does not work, let me know and I will download FXPro demo to test.

I tried the settings you suggested, but it still gives me error 131. cry
I have attached the settings I used for backtest in the attached set file.

If you would be so kind and download the FxPro demo and test it, that would be really great! It seems like FxPro wants you to register, and things like that, just to download their demo client, so I have prepared so you can download it without registering here: http://sharebee.com/7ceb69f6 wink

Hi Mr. Wackena,
In my MT4 , it hasnt closed the operations , and since you dont use manual intervention, I think I have something different, since Im using AVAFX MT4, its pretty much doing the same as your myfxbook, but it hasnt closed the trades that your account already closed,. Can you send me the set file you are using for your myfxbook, for EURUSD and USDCHf, or inform me if I can get it in the yahoo group.
thank you
rafael
