Yes I have the same sell at 1.5413, but the trade was placed on the live account just checked it and its there, the entry is 2 pips higher but same time.

Dont forget that there is a delay on MyFx Book, so you actually should be checking any trades on there web site.

Folks, I'm the one whose myfxbook is hosting this signal. Don't depend on it for realtime results. Its getting updates from my desktop computer which is not running all the time. It is good for going back and analyzing results and confirming trades after they are done. I did run it off my VPS for a while but I just bought LTP so am using that VPS session to run LTP live now. I figured no point doing demo trading.

Am running it live with a 0.02 lot per trade setting. After the horror stories of people who set it to 5% risk or something and it cleaned out the account in 2 trades I decided to manually set the lot size. You can do this by entering the lot size you want to trade in the EA's risk level setting. In my case its 0.02 for EU and GU and 0.01 for UJ and UC, if there is a 300 pip SL that would translate to a $60 loss.

First trade opened and closed and I had a 20 pip profit on FX Primus so far. EA seems stable enough when you don't do the things that are known to crash it. ie. don't change the time frame or chart symbol when chart is open and don't run more than 1 chart with LTP in a session of MT4. If you have both the EU, GU and UJ and UC versions of LTP run 2 sessions of MT4. I won't explain how to do it here. Its covered by others already. I crashed the MT4 when I ran LTP on 2 charts so I'm running 2 sessions of MT4 pointing to the same account; bought both licenses.

Question: When LTP settings are open you see the version number in the window. I see version 1.00. I thought they released another version soon after launch because so many people were crashing. Does anyone have 1.0a

I've created a new MY FXBOOK a/c with my live FX Primus account. It trades all 4 pairs and I've made it public, you can follow it here:

Ok now another weird thing happened. That last GU that opened on 15:44 at 1.54130 opened on my demo account and my live account BUT it closed on my demo with TP but is still open on my live account. I looked in the experts log and it shows that it did not modify the order with TP/SL so I have a live order with no SL or TP! How crazy dangerous is that!

Is this now a rogue trade that LTP does not even know about so I have to manage it?
There has got to be some logic in the client EA that knows how to handle things like this that are likely to happen when the whole trade signal does not go right. It is easy to program for sure so it shouldn't even be an issue for such 'advanced' NN EA programmers.

Here is demo account:
2010.12.30 08:44:24 LeoTraderPro EURUSD,H1: open #50483241 sell 0.07 GBPUSD at 1.54130 ok
2010.12.30 08:44:25 LeoTraderPro EURUSD,H1: modify #50483241 sell 0.07 GBPUSD at 1.54130 sl: 1.57457 tp: 1.53907 ok

Here is live account:
2010.12.30 08:44:25 LeoTraderPro EURUSD,H1: open #2091816953 sell 0.01 GBPUSD at 1.5413 ok

I'm using FXDD for both live and demo accounts. The only difference is that demo 5 digit and the live is 4, but I don't think that would be a problem. But maybe so, since the TL and SL for that trade was a fractional price - .7

Any ideas?

The only info i can share is that on my own personal EA i found out that certain of my technical indicators need 5 digit values to tell my EA when to do certain things. More specifically, my EA will work with 4 digit but it will take much longer for certain things to happen because the larger digit has to change verses the smaller one. So timing gets messed up. I won't use 4 digit.

In short, i would definitely contact that EA creator about this issue of using a 4 digit broker.

I just sent the above to support. I copied the Expert and Journal text as well and I think I found a bug.
I noticed I had LTP to open only EURUSD ie. AllowSymbols='EURUSD'; but is opened a GU anyway. Maybe the bug is it will open non-allowed symbols but will not modify them to set the TP/SL.

Just sent this to support:
Hello, I just changed the LTP setting and removed EURUSD only setting and then LTP closed my open GU order at a loss.
Why?

Well I am sure everyone got the big long email from these idiots today, it basically says this about missed trades issue:

All trade signals are broadcast to all users but remember that Leo
Trader Pro will automatically filter out 'old' signals and the default
lifespan of any signal is just 120 seconds.

You can obviously increase that value but the first thing to do is to
ensure that you have synchronized your PC clock with the internet
time server so that the UTC time we mark signals with is as close
as possible to UTC time that we calculate on your computer.

A related issue is that of 'old ticks' - some brokers have a very poor
price feed and/or access to very restricted liquidity which means that
trades on certain pairs can be far less frequent than for brokers with
good liquidity pools from multiple providers. When an 'old tick' gets
reported, it means that MT4 cannot confirm the available price for a
currency pair and that can prevent a trade from being opened if the
price confirmation is received beyond the lifespan of the signal we
have broadcast to you.

First of all I have never seen my computer clock off by more than 1 min, but I suppose its possible for any computer to be off by more than 2 mins which would mean that your computer would miss the trade signal. The other issue here is if I am running this EA on a Fin FX demo, the EA should be reading the broker time not the computer time. In other words if the EA send out a Buy signal at 01:33 GMT to your computer, then it should place that trade exactly at the same time.

This issue with 'Old Ticks' happens all of the time and it happens on a real live account, so what happened to the 120 seconds that the system is set up with?? This is plenty of time for the EA to retry executing the trade if there was an Old Tick issue, and you certainly dont need anymore than 2 mins to place any trade, and even then its to long because the market can move so much in 2 mins.

What this means is that we are dealing with this LTP EA being run on there servers, and we have absolutely no control what so ever, which means we have to rely on there servers. If your internet goes down for 30 seconds and there is a trade signal, you will miss it, and even worse your trade will not be closed out like what happened to me, but this is demo trading for me. But the scary part is this could very easily happen on a real account.

These idiots have created a so called fool proof system so no one can copy or reverse engineer there EA, well its so sophisticated that its back firing on them. I have a bunch of 'Ping Failed' error messages on my Fin FX demo and a bunch of missed trades like everyone else

Hello House66,

I'm using fx pro also. So you're saying Leo Trader Pro works well with FX Pro. No missed trades? If so that's good. Please update us if there are crashes. I'm not running on fx pro yet because the min lot size is 0.1. Please also let us know how well it runs live later also.

I also have FX Primus account. Running it live with 0.02 and 0.01 lots for the EU and UJ versions of LTP. I run 1 MT4 for EU and GU and another MT4 for the UC and UJ. UC and UJ crashed once over 24hrs.

Raymond, I just checked your live account which trades all 4 pairs and its losing money, wow!! Thats not very good considering that there live account is making money so far, but we will see what happens this week to see if these 4 trades hit there SL.

I dont think House66 was saying that he didnt miss any trades, he was saying that there was no 'Ping Failed' or lost connections messages.

Have you cross checked your live trades against there Fin FX account??

Apologies here. My LTP live account is not just LTP. Only trades from Dec 30th are from LTP. Prior to that its been other EAs I've since discontinued. Haven't figured how to just display from a certain date onwards. This might not be the right account to put up here. People will think the losses are from LTP instead. I'll take it down but will update on the results.

I missed the last gbpusd trade. VPS was up and running and no error messages. FX Primus is the broker.

Hey Raymond, I am using PF Pro as a demo for the LTP EA. I caught that last GBP/USD trade, so the problem may be your broker. However, I was entered in at 0.1. I tried to change the max pip size to 0.05 but it's showing as o.1 on my chart. I keep trying to change and save the settings to my preferences but whenever I open the inputs window, it shows the default settings. Do you or anyone have any idea how to fix this issue? Thanks

I think you mean your broker is FX Pro. I have a FX Pro account. The minimum lot size for FX Pro is 0.1 lot so you can't go lower than that. That's why I've not activated it on fx pro yet. I'm trading it on FX Primus at 0.02 lot for the EU GU pairs and 0.01 lot for UC and UJ pairs. Because the lot size is 0.1 lot, a stop loss would mean a $330 loss. Bit painful for my account at this time so I'm running MD and pip laser till it grows a little more.

Having said that, I find my EAs work well on FX Pro even though they are not a STP broker. They have a dealing desk but they say the dealing desk facilitates our trades. So far it does seem to be so contrary to the reputation of dealing desks.

Mine was entered with FXCM although I won only 6 pips instead of 10... I guess it's the high spread of FXCM. (currently 25-30 points)

LOL. Yes I meant FX Pro. Thanks for clearing that up. I live in the US and it's hard to find an ECN MT4 broker who will let you open an account with $500. If you do, the all seem to be licensed in Greece. I don't know how safe that is. I may take a chance and open an account with FinFX just for the LTP EA since the US regulated brokers are not conducive for the LTP EA.

However, I believe that the EA will work with an MT4 broker who does not provide ECN.

So do you use one broker for both license Raymond. I am being advised by LTP support to use a different MT4 broker for each license. This is what they said :

'Make sure to download the last version of our EA and use each licensed EA in a separate MT4 platform to avoid malfunction. The EA is advised to be attached to one chart only within one MT4'.

That seems to imply that I would need a different broker for each licensed EA since I cannot have more than one MT4 platform from the same broker open at once.

Greece is fine, it's perfectly safe up to 20 000 EUR.
