Why such a limitations which we can't see at any other EA: Not compatible with Windows XP & MUST have .net 4.0?
To buy another windows system because of this?

Get a good VPS, you'll need it anyhow running this EA

1) NumberOne is not compatible with wXP because this OS is not supported anymore even by Microsoft, and I don't want to bother with such obsolete OSes.

2) .NET 4.0 is a requirement because NumberOne was written with the .NET framework support.

l.

PS:
The best OS to host NumberOne is Windows Server 2003.

..looks like a great bot with better profits than mdp, but how are you going to prevent it being oversubscribed and follow the same fate as mdp; if there are just 2-3 decent brokers this will work with, sooner or later it will become too popular to work?..

..when is the planned release date for the commercial version and will you have the same lot restrictions to 2 - what will the price bracket be?

@petersurrey

about the price and the release date... just wait a couple of week more.

About the broker... yes the EA is broker dependant (I should better say it is 'fairness-dependant').
About the flooding... we're going to release it with a lotsize cap limit and the broker(s) we contacted seems willingly to act fair with us and our future clients.

From my point of view the EA worth a try, it is not a money printing machine but a good wise user could be able to reach a breakeven point (EA costs+initial balance) in a month of 1 lot trading.

I do not suggest to be greedy and trade safely with a 1000-5000€ max account 1-2-3 lots max.

The EA trade 3-5 times per weeks, and every user should be carefully watch the log, check every slippage and see if the broker starts to be unfair. A normal user should have time to stop the EA after a couple of 'strange' or 'unfair' trades.

Again: this EA is NOT a Holy Grail. It is only a program, a bonsai, and like a bonsai it must be cured and protected from harms.
You cannot expect to put on a VPS and be a mililionare in a couple of months... this is RIDICOLOUS and people trying to do that really start to deserve to lose money...

Be smart, be wise, be honest, be pragmatic and all will be fine with NO.

My two cents.

Many thank s for the feedback and good idea with the lots limit - break even in one month sounds pretty good!

Will this EA work with a US broker like MB Trading that uses 50:1 leverage and whose 'standard' lot is really what most brokers call a 'mini' lot (1.0 lots at MB Trading = 0.1 lots at other brokers)?

I love pip-peroni pizza and buttered pip-corn!

NumberOne should work with your borker... but due to the 1:50 leverage you're forced to think carefully the money management (order size) because 1 lot is going to use 2000$ of margin.

Remember in any case that NumberOne opens only 1 trader per time.
