There seem to be multiple (perhaps 3) strategies. One is definitely MDP, the others will be copies of someone else's work also. They probably do a little better than break even in a perfect demo environment, which bolsters the overall gains a little over MDP alone, but the MDP clone will be where most of the gains are coming from.

I think you guys are missing the point. It may be similar to MDP in certain aspects, but I don't think it uses the same logic. At least not yet I don't. I have checked the BTs. It is noticeably different. Not drastically, just noticably. Plus, as I pointed out, Thor was more proitable in the tests. Granted, these are nothing more than just backtests, and since both MDP and Thor are super scalpers, the tests are virtually meaningless.

Anyway, I will be finding out this next week just how similar MDP and Thor are in live environments. After they both initiate trades, I will be able to go in and load the trades onto a 1 minute chart and compare the closed trades. If they match up....well....we will just see what happens and go from there. grin I don't want to start calling fake until i have some solid proof.....even though there is plenty of suspicious evidence.

'MDP 1.2.0' comments were attached to trades in the live account for Thor, posted right on their home page. How much more evidence do you need?

Yeah, I find that to be incredibly suspicious. But that doesn't prove anything. It could have been that he was comparing the two EAs and posted the wrong test. I find it to be a bit odd, because when I do the same test, i get way better performance than what that test shows. Anyway, like I keep saying, we will find out shortly. i figure MDP and Thor will probably hit a trade this week and i will be able to start comparing them from live trades. I'm not going to sweat it.

If it is legit, he will be vindicated when i prove it. If not, then the appropriate actions will be taken. I am not going to cry wolf until I see one though.

Now he has changed the comment to say 'Thor 1.2.1' instead of 'MDP_EURUSD_1.2.0' so the only mistake he made was not changing the comment in the first place...not that he posted the wrong test.

Yeah, probably just a coincidence that it is a spike trader just like MDP, and had MDP comments in the code. And besides, it's not like his last robot, EA Shark, had any controversy surrounding it. And everyone knows a system based on real time level 2 data can be backtested, right?

Hi Forex Traders,
An ex-employer which I had to fire yesterday played a pretty dirty joke with me. The result = Order comments on a html statement was replaced with order comments used by the EA Million Dollar Pips.

Shortly after, the developer from million dollar pips sent a DMCA notification (digital millennium copyright act notification) to our payment processor and contacted me.

After we had a chat conversation where I explained him the situation and offered him to compare code, logic and additional material. As both systems are very different, the issue was straightened out very quickly.

During the chat conversation, he sent another E-Mail to the payment processor, informing them that they should discard the DMCA notification he sent earlier.

However, as regular E-Mails and DMCA notifications are handled from different departments, the case was already reviewed from the payment processor before they had knowledge about the second E-Mail from the million dollar pips developer.

The result from their review was that no copyright violation exists at all. Later, they sent me another E-Mail with information about that the million dollar pips developer asked to discard the DMCA notification he sent in earlier.

Fact is that both systems are short-term trading systems what uses volatility expands. That’s all they have in common. Everything else (analytic method, entry, exit, trailing, order execution, time frame, etc.… are completely different. It is a bit like a banana and apple. Both fruits, but very different.

I am sure many forex trader, who purchased the Thor system also use the million dollar pips ea. So it is easy to compare tests, trades, function and features to understand that they are completely different.

Screenshots attached: MDP Test, Thor Test, Thor-MDP Test, E-Mail, Chat Transcript (partial blurred as we talked about coding stuff as well, what is not topic related)

I'm impressed...first time i've seen a commercial vendor be so open and responsive. Kudos! I wish success to you Mr. Collins.

Happy Holidays everyone!
