I have Firemoon trading currently.
Both PowerGrid (GBPUSD) and FireBird (CADJPY) have good returns for the past 30days and are comparable for 90 days. In the last 180 days: Firebird rolled over starting on 10/13/2010 thru 10/31/2010 with a $-3766.85 loss of -307.9 pips. Powergrid may take 4 positions however during the same time period, 10/17/2010 to 10/27/2010 it experienced a $-1735 loss of -173.5 pips. In the last 30 days: Firebird 223.9 pips: Powergrid 3333.8 pips, neither had any downdraw, so its a hard decision but I prefer Powergrid because it has a history of less down draw since inception (both Jan 2010) not because it has taken more pips in 30 days. Since I am a US trader, I am not able to select more than one strategy for each pair. ![]() However since both have T-Scores below 9.0, I am reluctant to use either. Antisthenes (AUDUSD) scares me to death with loss of 471 pips in the last 14 days along with many others. Thank you magma for sharing your thoughts. Ex. |

I am curious if you are using other strategy providers such as zulutrade or zip signals. Thank you, Vladimir Place your bets. I used Tradency for several months both on demo’s and a live accounts. Tradency's platform is very good. The problem is not with Tradency but the strategies they offer.
There are other signal providers that offer the same signals but then they have much better alternatives available. Check the ratings of the ones you are using on Tradency against the other signal sites and see how they compare. After I gave back most all I made using Tradency, I decided to try something else. I am not using other strategy providers, but day trading myself. Happy Trading. |

I started demoing this on at Market open this week. I do like the fact that this is demoing on real prices instead of a demo feed. after eliminating and excluding the joke strategies that wound up in the portfolio I am up about 200 pips. and that is running a sl of 50 and a limit of 30 on each trade.
They do need a better system though. When will these providers not accept signals that will draw down your account zero without question. I dont know if they do this now but however the provider gets paid shouldent happen unless the stratagy makes a profit on the trade. It would clear out the trashy ones I think. Yes they do the t-score thing, but if I remember my demo of zulu trade, which was horrid, they have a something like that as well. |

stevetrade posted: I currently provide signals with Tradency. First of all they test your system for 30 days and manually review it to see if the system works okay before they release you on the unsuspecting public. They are very prompt and professional in their service. They recently set up a new system to try and address some of the problems they were having with some of their providers, such as too large stops and too many open positions at once. These changes should remove some of the more dubious trading practices on there. All that being said, I have had one subscriber complain about orders not being closed correctly. When I checked he did have about three orders that had gone past their stops considerably. Fortunately one of them was a winner and he was actually up on the errors. However it is worth noting this. Tradency have a default stop in place that applies to all your strategies and catches any problems like this, but this may not be suitable for every trade placed. Which is where the problem comes from. All in all I would say they are better than ZuluTrade but still not that 100% accurate solution that we'd like to see in this market place. Maybe ZipSignals will be the one? 为信念 |

Mirror trades are placed as market order in tradency, while the signals from the strategy providers are based on market data in their respective trading system. Since tradency market data will be different than those of the providers, there will be big PIPs difference between the signal prices and the mirror trades, especially when market moving is moving fast, or, quotes are spare in tradency. So my guess is that using full automatic signals may cause unncessary loss.
