yesterdays conclusion:
EU was very bumpy. I had some loosing trades in secs. if you look at the history there are bunch of trades were stop out in seconds. the reason is the SL is around 3-4 PIP and price was very fast Up & down. I could have %10 today but made some wrong desecions. but tight SL keeping me away from big losses. walker xenon posted: today I had up to %1.25. I lost my risk appetite but kept trading. then down to -%12 and then again up to %1.50. now stopped. if it would be live I would have %0.25 additional gain on the other hand broker would get rich!! walker Trade The Trend, Defend To Price. |

I had traded 2 weeks with 1min chart with average daily %1.30 daily goal. then suddenly the day I publish account I had > %90 DD in some hours.
2 weeks of trading with 1 min chart is equals to trading day of 600 days of 1 Hr chart trading according to bar count. what went wrong: - I did not enter 5 winners at the very start of the session. and then entered 2 loosers. that was the trigger. - I did tighten SL default value at EA side. this caused 3 issues. a- EA could not set SL on 3 GU trades with error 130 and those 3 winners closed as soon as I opened the trade by EA due to no SL set by the EA. b- GU spread is 2x of EU spread and some GU trades Stop out as soon as I opened due to very tight SL. c- with that error 130 combined an EA code error cost me some trades also - I started to trade grid with 3 PIP SL instead of patters. due I do not want to close the day with %3 loss - increasing Lot size combined with grid type SL trade - CHARTS WERE FREEZING 10-20 SECS THEN MAKING ALL THOSE TICS AT ONCE IN 1 SEC. I had that when trading live but that was 10 times a day and duration was 2-3 minutes then chart was printing 2-3 bars at once. this time it was continious action of freezing and printing at once. this caused me bead entry levels then I expected. the result of that a- I had missed to many trades with < 0.50 PIP and can not exit manually due the chart freezes. when chart was printed it was away from TP level. b- I had stop out with < 0.50 PIP due to bad entry level. WHAT CAN BE FIXED: - I had stop trading with bigger lot sizes at all. same lot size for a week. - I had cancel price averaging enrty system. - code error fixed. - FIX SL default set to original level as it was for 2 weeks. the most important point is I should suffer loss for some days and stop trading. nothing is wrong. that s way brokers has demo accounts and traders test themselves. walker Trade The Trend, Defend To Price. |

I have self coded market depth indicator. this works well. but the I also need to code a market liquidaiton level indicator. when market is not liquid like yesterday I must stop trading until it gets liquid. this will prevent me from freezing charts issue.
this is most probably happening on impact 5 news days. market waits until the news hours. Trade The Trend, Defend To Price. |

I had a proof of market condition for yesterday
I am checking the average spread of pepperstone razor account every week from MFB. the average spread for EU : 0.50 PIP EG : 0.70 PIP GU : 1.00 PIP but yesterday the values are EU : 0.70 PIP EG : 0.90 PIP GU : 1.30 PIP it is around %30 higher the expected. I had changed the MM. when I loose a certain level as %2 daily or had daily goal then lot size will be decreased 1/5 instead of increasing 5/1.

Indicator on test.
till now what I found is relatively 1 Min Bar time is now up to 2 min. this sound weird but math never fails. I will wait until market get liquid and see how the indi react. if it reduce down to 1=1 then it is correct and usable. average tick/bar is 8-12 which is very very slow to trade. this was killed me on friday.
