Agree with TremtJohn...no new trades late Friday, no new trades on the Monday opening (wait at least 1-4 hours to let the market settle), be aware of significant news releases (check myfxbook Economic Calendar for upcoming news releases), and look to the London-New York session for best trading time in general.
Keep it simple! |

No trading on Sunday, unless there is a very clear trend moving.
Better is little with the reverent, worshipful fear of the Lord than great and rich treasure and trouble with it. (Proverbs 15:16 Amplified Version) |

Glad you realize that there are times you should not be in the market!

What days you choose to not trade should be based on your trading style and strategy.
I usually avoid Fridays and days of bank minutes or Interest Rate decisions. Believe it or not, some of my best trades have been on Sunday evening
Everything should be as simple as it can be, but not simpler. |

Great peak hours to trade
2-530am (eur opens) 8-11am (us opens) EST Be careful of NFP, FOMC and interest rates days, can get whipsawed. Let the market come to you |

EST is Eastern Standard Time, for the US east coast, place of interest namely New York. You must be meaning CST/HKT/SGT. And also 8-11pm (not am) Consistency above all. |
