So As title say, what are the best forecasting sites/utilities in your opinion ? Or what is your routine to get your information before you start trading ?

The best to look at is Nial Fuller... 90% of the time I do have same point of view on major pairs. He is the king of Price Action.

A lot to learn there...

To be the guru and predict the future you just need to make enough predictions, then forget the unsucessful and brag for year about coinflip that went right.

doesnt matter how many followers someone has.

Those who can't do, teach.

Truth is no one has a crystal ball.

While not directly forecasting I like to have a look at Reuters, Bloomberg and other major news agencies to give me a feel for a mix of real events, data and what not that is blending with the market and different technical forecasts.

I would also like to add into the original question which leans more toward the long term trades, the same question about short term trades. What is the best indicator to determine when to buy or sell at any given moment. Lets say we have had one trade close and want to open another immediately. Both the stop-loss and the take-profit are the same, say 25 pips. Is there an indicator that is right at least 70% of the time within those limits? Or it could be wrong 70% or more, that would be good too as we could always just flip our trades from its indications.

I've went through hundreds of indicators and have yet to find any indicator that was consistently anything. I'm starting to become a little suspicious.

Concept of trading with 1:1 R:R ratio is good. If you trade it manually you will eventually get your timing right and make some profit.

I havent seen any indicator that could produce good signal on the long run.

They work good either in trend, or in ranging market, most of the times any profits are removed at consolidation zones anyway.

At the end they are just the distraction.

'They work good either in trend, or in ranging market, '

Ok. Is there an indicator that tells us when a pair is ranging or trending and right at least 70% of the time? There are quite a few really sharp minds on this forum. I figure that if we all pull our energies and resources, we stand a chance of beating this thing, but it's only a chance at this point.

Yes but that won't help me with my goal.
Three news sources were forecasting the future of oil back before the holidays. All three had oil bouncing off of the $50 mark and one going as high as $85 before June.

Of course looking at the price chart for oil, no one would expect any kind of a bounce at $50, and it didn't. Next stop was $45 a barrel. You can't listen to the news because the may have other agendas than the welfare of your portfolio.

So if you can't trust humans then it makes sense to go to robots, they don't care about anything that isn't on their programming. But even here, we can't find any indicators that can get it right 70% or more of the time. That's barely a C on the most liberal report cards.

How about it CrazyTrader, Zoom, You guys have had to have looked at a couple of indicators getting to where you are now. Ever seen anything either living or dead that could decide between a buy or sell, or between ranging and trending? If technical trading is dependent on indicators and no one knows of a decent determinant indicator, maybe that's the reason so many technical trader lose so many trades.

Maverick, one of my systems took over 3000 trades with no losses. I think that is still the record. Computers can and do out perform humans, if not right at this moment for all things, then next week but pretty soon. If I trade for today, I'll eat for today. But if I teach a robot to trade for me, the world is my oyster. It's never to late to automate.
