We do not have any issues with EA, but metaquotes has realised build 416 -418 and these build have several issues. We do not recommend to use any EAs with dll with builds 416 and higher. Metaquotes should fix these issues soon. You can read more about on metaquotes forum. I think 419 build doesn't have this issue

This hasn't traded since Apr 10th Boris, you stop it for awhile 'til market resumes 'normal'? (Like I did).

Had gotten new NN version to train on 10mo 1min ibfx mini backdata (eurusd) with, finally, no errors on training or clicking ok on preset on live chart. Running the test after training is remarkable, $100 turns into $1000, albeit at 43% dd, thats expected with higher MM of 16%, but despite that the region since holidays doesn't look so depressed, it looks healthier. The NN trained to 27 levels, everything looked good so pasted it in my live tfot mt4 tester/files folder and have started live forward run. Its possible I've had flukey errors having me stumble for awhile due to 2 other MT4's running and one other management software on same server, difficult to say, but no errors now and am beginning live forward run. My only concern is similar to before, how much will live be re-playable in tester.....'replication' I call it. Perhaps this might not be of concern as even though before TFOT sometimes had this inconsistency I have seen general equity followings between live, replay, and TFOT on this myfxbook. Soooo, 'knock on wood' folks, if pans-out this puppy may have turned into a future even more expensive glorious EA (and lucky us for getting now) !! Teehee.

Just did a Walk Forward type test. Tranined nn's from 6/15/11 to 11/15/11 and then 'Walk Forward' type test for month after that. Result was excellent, alas, my risk% MM setting was a bit high at 16%: 64% profit & dd=19%. Fantastic. When I train & test (w/o walk forward) on 11.5 months backdata I got 1000% profit w/ 40% dd, same 16% risk setting.
Albeit, one walk forward doesn't tell whole story, seems quite a few is the testing means path, and/or just letting it run ongoingly on live, currently I'm running it live on ibfx mini, but have this riskier 16% risk setting, figure it's worth the $70 acct to see if things could really be this explosively good. Boris recommends re-train every 3-4 months. don't believe 99.9% of the EA e-ads out there my friends! |

We have tried to trade one more currency usdcad (another account), but drawdown was higher than on baktest and we recommend to trade only EURSD. We monitor this account from November 2011 without any changes.
It is very stable EA and we use it on our real accounts. BJF Trading Group |
