no, HV is another setup.
but is the DD the same?
I don't know its hard to compare every single config. the account should be started the same day with the same initial deposit to have a real comparison.
take a look at the official accounts, the long + short account compared to the PE one.
I think the DD is higher with the PE, but its also a better overall balanced setup.

Ok, thanks, but there is both V2 HV and V3 HV (and V3 power)
I have setup now 3 MT4
V3 HV long cycle
V3 Power long cycle
V3 Power long and short cycle
I'd have liked to setup also V3 HV long+short but I dont have enough license
Maybe you could setup like me a fresh new demo with V2 HV long cycle to compare? I did this on a 600 000USD account as I plan to deposit 6000USD converted in cents

Some other questions!
What broker are you using?

When I will go live, can I use another accounts that the old accounts I used with version 2 that are in 'member profile'? I just fill in 'license manager' with live accounts (actually blank)?

not sure which strategy I'll use.
maybe another agressive settings without eurusd, or it at low risk
or another long term with constant profits

When should we expect the PE to go live?

We dont know, they still have to test, fix bug, we must not be hurry and not put pressure on them, we have to let them the time
So min 1 month max 2 months I think
FE team, take the time you need

(in the meanwhile V2 is ok)

Well, they've already said that 'we're getting close to go live'. So I expect it to be faster than 2 months ...

Idk about the V2, i just set it for 2 pairs for tests, because i'm a bit afraid of the DD.

V2's DD is not more as V3
Around 12% if you respect balance they advise
Also, if you dont trust their products, maybe you should go to another EA?

remember its a martingale system, so for sure you'll get a margin call. so be ready for this first. if you are not ready for this, don't use FE.
its just a question of when.
but the EA is very good and can survive a very long period, which can let you the time to withdraw your capital.
and if you are afraid, just use the long cycle config, you'll reduce your risk, take a look at their official live accounts, the long cycle still get good results and far from a MC.

I'm not sure. V3 seems to be requiring less capital and presents lower DD at all. The one strange thing is with the cents account. I heard from them and received set files for 10,5-14k $ standard account (with 1:400 lev), they said it'll work fine.
Honestly i opened the account to start trading with PE, i didn't know that's it's not let for live yet.

Now look at the difference between PE and Long cycle, PE ended with EUR/USD at profit at all, while the long cycle from previous version got a first drop on the chart.

It looks like a manual intervention...

I've been getting good results with PE using risk factor of 4 on long cycle and 2 on short cycles with all the freeze after take profits and news filter options turned off. That huge retraction made me quite a bit of money and actually lowered my drawdown.
I also ran a demo account at 5 million and noticed that it trades like a MUCH smaller account. So if you have a really large account you can pretty much safely trade at risk level of 5 it seems. Tim Needham

Hey I got a question for Forex Envy Team, when did you start using a risk at 1? On the 20 of may? I want to follow your tour strategy without expecting too much from a super risk stat that I won't set risk over 1 . Because clearly the risk management change during those 5 months, in the beginning you had 380% return per month and then 50% now it's slowing down to 14% and it is heading 8% this month according to the half month profit.

1. they got good days like I got at the same time. and I'm more flat now too.
2. I think this version is not the v3, this version just have different settings, but its not the v3 with a risk instead of a base lot size as the main parameter. so they certainly don't change the parameters on this account.

are you using a demo account? or real one?
the first demo account I used with the standard settings of the v3, was near a margin call the first day!
so a risk of 2 or more will blow the account for sure.

The 5 million was a demo. the others are real but like I said earlier. I wouldn't recommend those settings with any other broker than Tradefort and 1000:1 leverage. The tradeing terms they use are VERY well suited to PE. Unfortunately they don't accept any new customers from America. Seems like everyone wants to know what settings you are using though? I found out the hard way it's best to just stick with the recommended settings. Sure you may get away with more aggressive settings for a while but sooner or later a long steady trend is gonna get ya. Tim Needham

Why did FE delete the long/short cycled account which was published here?
