Update Problems

My live account has not updated since yesterday. I had simlar problems with my demo account but after restarting the demo MT4 it updated. I have restarted my live MT4 but it still will not update.

All the information in publisher is as per your instructions and the journal says publisher is ok.

Suggestions?

You've probably tried to upload from a different account which has locked your account on our side.

i just put in a new one today, second time since i signed up yesterday since connection status under settings 'FAILED'. how often do we need to provide the history URL? Do we need to do provide the history URL every x period of time? my account is with oanda.

check out the help section - https://www.myfxbook.com/help:
'Your account's data will be updated automatically every 60 minutes, until the end of the day, at midnight (GMT).
When the history link expires, to resume the data retireval process you will be required to provide a new history link.'

under the 'How to add an Oanda account?'

so you probablly will need to update the url each day...

Hello kyuzo,

As pavelr suggested, you will indeed have to provide a fresh history link for each new day, as it expires on Oanda's side daily.

We are working to improve this, and we'll let you know when it changes.

i reported a bug yesterday, it got fixed, and now i have the same issue.

under portfolio, on the market analytics box is a monthly gains histogram. for sept 2009, it shows a -47% loss, which is an error. I have attached a screen shot of this. Does it have something to do with the data retrieval process and that i should provide a new history link?

...and one more thing. In my portfolio page, under the trading activity box, open trades tab. it shows that i have open positions, which i don't. The date on the trades show they were made months ago. Looking at my trading platform, I do not have any positions open.
