what do you recommend using mql5 or signalstart?

thanks for your interest.

I should emphasize to read signal description before joining any signal. do not hurry, no rush. Take your time and feel free to ask any questions. And with regards to choosing between mql5 or signal start i can not unfortunately make a recommendation because it might be deemed as advertising which is prohibited. however generally there should not be much of a difference. you probably can ask other traders too.

alierza, yes in signalstart/mql5 I can read the description. Nice job about the explanation.

I have a few questions:

1) What is the minimum/recommended deposit?
2) What kind(ecn?) or what broker your signal works better with your signal? I see that you're using fxopen
3) How many times in a month (once in a month, weekly) you close all the trades for withdrawal/deposits?
4) Do you trade during news/big events?

1) minimum is recommended to be 1000 $ however it is not an obligation.

2) Yes, I am using fxopen as my broker and it is okay till now, However I can not make any specific recommendations. By the way this signal runs on a VPS server in the US (FYI).

3) I have to emphasize that trades are only closed by SL/TP and not by other factors such as time limit, end of month re-balancing, war, love, brexit, grexit, Oexit, elections etc. Only by SL or TP. because this signal is pure technical analysis and not fundamental. Albeit i should say that market conditions are continuously monitored which might result in change of SL/TP positions it means that they are not hard stops. beware of this too. Also my personal withdrawals or deposits should not affect your copying because I think the system calculates the ratio of provider and follower balance and will copy according to your own margin and equity. At least I think you can set it to do so. I recommend you to consult with the website developers about this because i am not completely informed and there will be no guarantee that i wont do withdrawals or deposits at any time (although probably will be not often to do so).

4) Yes, As i said because the signal is based on technical analysis it does not care even a bit about fundamentals. In our perspective we make the fundamentals and not them. However positions might be reduced in case of minor technical signs of reversal. this reduction might be a little augmented if significant risks are eminent.

Generally No , I do not use trailing stops however occasionally it might be applied.

If signs of reversal become imminent SL/TP will be justified accordingly. it is all calculated and based on technical analysis and not chance !

certainly smart to use SL and TP each trade, one of the better signal providers on signalstart for sure

@ali66sh I have a question. Since you does not close your trades weekly because you stick to your strategy, When should be a good time to start to follow you without opening a high DD because of the opened trades?

Hello,

First of all I should say previously opened trades will not prevent us from getting new ones plus opening new trades are based on closed profit and not floating. And second because opened trades will be only closed by SL/TP i can not give you a specific time which can be the best time to join. However I could suggest waiting for the EUR/USD trades to be concluded whether by hitting TP or SL. It is expected to happen sooner rather than later. Again as i said there is generally no best time and this is just an option to be considered. All in all remember not to rush and just take your time. there are always opportunities out there and there is nothing to miss. And by the way there is always risk of loss too. So be safe !

Look to my account: I started to copy chronicity in a time when the 'floating profit' was already very high (equity growth 374%/ growth: 254%).
I was also sceptical and asked Alireza the same question.
The first day my account went down -4.15%, while Chronicity´s equity growth fell from 374% to 322%, it was a bad day. Then my account growth raised and raised and after 9 days it was in the green zone.

I think you won´t have a big negative DD if you jump in at any time 😉

I notice in the description for this signal you mention all trades have a pre determined TP and SL set. However on signalstart you have 16 open positions on GBPJPY and none of them have a SL set only TP? Also signal start says Drawdown is 34%, but here it says 27% Can you please explain this also?. thanks

thanks for your question, GBP/JPY is being monitored very closely and SL were intentionally removed and will be deployed ASAP ! Analysis remains intact and are monitoring the situation closely. There was an extreme extension in GBP/JPY which does not occur often. Still anticipating reversal although nothing is 100 % and will close trades if needed.

I do not know the reason for discrepancy of max drawdown among different sites, mql5 is also showing 36 %. maybe they differ in calculations ! i do not know, please ask the websites admins for possible reasons !

thank you for your response. If May speaks in UK and situation gets worse very quickly I hope you will have SL on those trades, as you won't have time to react if the news is very quick about possibility of a hard brexit... There are no 18 open trades from 16 open positions, so are you opening new positions to average out of the poor trades (i.e. using a grid technique, it does look that way), please advise?

Also I believe the discrepancy with drawdown is because of update frequency to the various providers. Not sure what frequency set here but can't be 5 or 15 mins? is it 1 hour or 4 hours? perhaps signal start is more frequent your connection to them (as people are copying trades from you so the 34% drawdown would be the more accurate figure). cheers

Good to see you get out of that GBPJPY drawdown. If you can keep the drawdown under control will be a winner. Even perhaps safer to follow at 1/2 risk would still be a great monthly return ... cheers
