I have managed account with FXPRIMUS. I somewhat understand your point, even though there are good brokers who allow you to open with $200 or less. But here is the thing: even the profitable traders get themselves into trouble when managing money for others (whether publicly or just between friends). So from my point of view aspiring managers need to complete these 3 steps: 1) be profitable in demo; this part I believe they should keep to themselves (i.e. no need to publicly show demo accounts) 2) be profitable in real money account, which should be with a recognizable broker (i.e. no with MyUnknownSuperBroker) 3) be profitable in a managed account, i.e. show you can sustain your personal performance when trading other's money Of course, you can skip these steps and dream about getting funded. I was just telling my side of the story. There is a lot more to it, but the above list is the minimum I expect. He who thinks he can, and he who thinks he cannot, are both right. ~ Henry Ford |

Hello Remus,
Greetings, Let us first say that if this post is not in the right place we apologize. We are new to this site and not sure of the rules. We are Blue Sky Trading Partners and we just launched our trade room and signal service and are also featured on Zulu trade as an SP. We are US based. Our head trader has worked as a consultant in the hedgefund industry and has over 10 years live FX experience. We trade with our own custom designed indicators and are currently in the process of becoming CFTC compliant and joining the NFA. We currently offer trading on Zulu Trade under the name tradetheladders : http://www.zulutrade.com/TradeHistoryIndividual.aspx?pid=109793 We also offer a live version of our system for those who like to trade on their own via our 24/6 traderoom. There is no credit card required. We are also very very different from other signal/tradeservices, money managers. One of the things that we noticed about the Forex world in general is how everyone is trying to prove that their system works or they can trade etc. They do this with back tests ( useless) or provide statements off sites like this. Thats great but what does it really tell you about the risk involved etc. How do you have recourse or even know if a trader panics and doesnt follow the rules they established that caused you to join. Thats what sets us apart from everyone else. First we offer a very detailed explanation of our methods as well as the rules under which we trade. Next we back that by recording the market and our system 24/6. We then condense the footage so it can be viewed in a reasonable time and post it publicly on you tube. This gives you the investor/trader full recourse if we dont follow our rules or system. It also allows you to make an informed real choice based off the actual performance of our system during different times and periods thru out a trading day. In real market conditions. If you have ever bought a system or subscribde to a service only to find out you cant use it because its not condusive to your time schedule you know how frustrating it can be. That cant happen with us. Just watch the tapes and see when the signals come etc. We dont cherry pick we chop the tree down. Its a new way to verify and one needs to ask why others are not offering it. The software is out there. So anyway we hope you will give us a chance to help you reach your financial and personal goals via the forex market. Please keep watching my performance. For last four months, I gained around 1,600 pips thats average 400 pips per month. Asper myfxbook.com my gain percentage is +31%. This is because I have never increased my lot size from 0.10. I have upload this performance in Zulutrade.com also. So I want to monitor my profit in pips and not in dollars. to achieve great peak |

Hi haridas,
In my opinion you will never get an investor to trade for based on a demo account, noway, never gonna happen (unless its a complete noobee investor - gambler - who has a spare $100 to throw away). Pips nor dollars are the way to monitor performance... the ONLY way to monitor performance is by amount risked based on stoploss per trade, and % increase on account balance per month. |
