You dont seem to use stop loss levels. But i think you are using trading minilots and using the big equity itself as a buffer to make every single trade a success.
Can you please correct me if i am wrong and explain your system? |

I dont like trading with SL either... I just use them when I trade special formations, but its so much volatility in the markets, prices come back most of the times and u can adjust the risk with lower volumes... Thats my style, I trade with a general long or short bias in a pair, take 0,5%-2% risk for 100pips in a pair and adjust it with the daily average range of the pair ;)

Shankar you'r correct I was using mini lots and I had big margin to play with so that was ok. But then I started to play with 0.1 lots still with no stop loss. That was my mistake and since then I had a margin call on this account which is ok because I played with money I won in fx demo competition.
There were other reasons why I lost everything on this account(mainly because I lost the desire to trade as I had 2 more bigger accounts and I started to make careless trades on this one). But I would like to make clear to everyone than since then one of my trading rules is to always use a stop loss! I really think that it's for most of us the necessity to be profitable. |
