Right now, the stat says Gain=140.78%.
Drawdown seems to be stuck at around 46.86% for a few weeks now.
It has been real quiet here. Are many traders still using Tom's EA out there?

Hey drsong123,

I respectfully disagree with your attitude. I think it is abundantly clear that Tom will blow out any account eventually, regardless of the risk settings. It's logic is fundamentally flawed, IMHO, and it will keep taking more and more trades in the wrong direction until you go broke.

Make losses, but always come out a winner at the end.

guys
i lost demo money in fwd testing on demo with TOMs EA
i lost real money on real account with TOMs EA
THEN i sat up my MT4 for backtesting with tick precision
and you now what no matter what was the starting balance it destroyed the account within 6 months
I am afraid that's the fate of all martingale EAs because i made similar experience with Evolution EA

Of course it would work if EA has no stop losses and you have infinite amount of money to put in
but in such case you do not need to risk them, right? ;)

We are running older version of the EA on dedicated server, therefor lotsize pattern might differ a little from what you see in 1.92 version

Due to extreme amount of messages I had to unsubscribe from myfxbook mailing, so if you feel like you've got a question which deserves attention of the support - feel free to email us at : support@forextradersdaily.com

On the other note - we are expecting to see a major update for the Tom's EA this fall, it should bring more stability and performance in trending market conditions

Hi,

So are there any traders here still using Toms EA live and are getting good results with no high DD?

I have been testing the EA the last two months on pepperstone and seems to be getting good results.
