Hi Snowy, I dont know if you got a chance to look at these backtests for Aladdin 5FX: http://www.myfxbook.com/strategies/alladin-2008-2012/11305
As you can see those are some pretty incredible results, especially given that there is a drawdown of less than 7%. Anyway, I tried to run the same backtest on Aladdin 5_fx to see if I will get the same results but unfortunately my MT4 always crashes whilst doing so. If you dont mind buddy, may you run the backtests for Aladdin using the same settings as in the above bacttest just to verify whether they really are any good or not. Also, if you need the set file for the above backtest just let me know and I will send it to you.

i know this backtest and i tried to reproduce it with 99% dukascopy tickdata over a longer period than this backtest ran (from 2008-01-01 to 2013-02-28), but the result is much worse. especially at beginning of 2013 the EA generates a DD of around 40%. so i didn't save the result. but i can run it again and upload the report here.

thanks snowy. It seems as through it's performance slowed down in recent periods 2012 and 2013. Maybe it was too optimised for certain periods. I dont know. But nonetheless, the results are still quite outstanding.
