Software developer who has been trading live accouts for about 10 years now, starting with stocks, but now spread over forex, stocks, cfd's, indexes and futures. I have always had a strong fundamentally biased trading style. If my broker can be automated, i write a program to do my trading. Trading is rule based, rules i make up and sometimes change according to my fundamental outlook and market events.
Trading Style:
basically trading against the usd, using various systems of various leverage targets and various baskets. system 1, 3,4,5 are a narrow basket currency+metal against usd. system 2,6,7 are metals only against usd, and system 8 is a wide basket against usd. systems with a lower number are more levered than systems with a higher number, inside their own category. I don't expect all systems to perform equally good, system8 is the one most surely to make a profit,while system1 will probably not make a profit unless the dollar starts tanking more or less in a straight line. As of nov.30.2009 i have stopped trading system1 and used the funds still there to go against paying for the monthly API fee.
