IT & BA professional with >20 years in banking experience, thereof 15 years in investment banking. Projects in trading & risk software, HFT & algo-trading with equity, FX and commodities.
Finally I decided some months ago to use all I learned so far and trade a little for myself instead of always letting others earn the bucks ,-))
Trading Style:
I'am heavily relying on EAs trading 24/5. All run on professionally hosted boxes in German and Australian datacenters. A mix of passive and active, scalping, trend following and trend breaking EAs is the name of the game... I set a high value on managing risk and esp. enhancing strategies so the loss is quite limited at all time. Simply said: There is no free lunch, profit does not come without the risk! Personally I prefer moderate to medium profits in favour of having only moderate risk on the capital.
