My TFOT with smaller Finfx-micro acct is doing similar to this TFOT on AlpariUS larger acct. So I can't give comparative eval of how it fairs compared to larger Pro acct.
Anyone here running TFOT on an fxopen $1000 Pro acct? Or just a smaller acct somewhere? Would appreciate your feedback and/or hooking-up to myfxbook. Thx, Truly, Jerry B. don't believe 99.9% of the EA e-ads out there my friends! |

Boris, could you add magics analysis capability? Currently, one cannot see how each strategy performs individually.

One star? I'll give it Five. Stability for over a year and it doesn't use a dangerous recovery strategy.... Pip expectancy is almost 7 which is hard to find on the site. It may not win every month, but from the historical data, the winning months outweigh the losing streaks....Let's see how it does in 2012.

Demo accts are useless for tester or live as it is a broker smoothed-over version of live quotes. I used a live acct at ibfx and over 6 month period prior to December tfot did fine in test, doubled the acct @ 5% risk and dd not bad. Now I'm running live$ on Finfx micro and ibfx and since prior to Xmas these have generally followed tfot of iticsoftwares on AlpariUS, not by trade-by-trade but by general equity win/lose path curves. Currently it seems like it is returning to recovery, hopefully the market doesn't have too much more of these instability periods, but even if it does, I feel tfot will just recover. I was at first getting kinda skedptical of tfot due to my ways of looking at test total replication expectancy, or trade-by-trade replication of AlpariUS, but tfot seems to be its own 'animal' that chews thru the quotes on any broker, surprisingly. Although I admit it still will take many months before jury returns, otherwise as Boris suggests, I should be at fxopen.com's ecn low initial deposit of $1000. I have my Finfx micro on myfxbook if you want to track it. Acct members/Batcheler

This ea seems like broker sensitive as this demo test has taken a few more trades and somewhat different in the last two weeks www (dot) mt4i (dot) com /users/tfot-bfr
Edit: this other test trades more than just eurusd, thus more trades. |

demo acct are useless, they are smoothed over & different than live quotes. If you read my recent posts you'd see I threw in towel on expecting trade-by-trade replication of trades, that is live to test replication hopes. TFOT does its thing on NFA or not NFA, only way I found is to compare % equity changes live with iticsoftware's AlpariUS acct, and I see it generally follows in performance, which has been of good relief from frustrating over. It's kind of a slight magical let-it-be approach to following performance, was hard to let go of my engineering-like microscope to its trade-by-trades.
