Unfornaturnately, Flopps, by deactive EA, it will only stop hedging positions but not adding losing basket. I found out this because I did exactly you did. Only way to stop EA for the pair ......

HI, HotForex will stop connection to their servers for any version below 4.19 from the 1st June.
Any idea how to NOT have to update to 4.19?
I am currently running 4.09 and all EAs are working great

nope pocketguy, the feature was not publicised.
I was not aware of it either. Are you sure though?
It does not make sense to avoid "friday open trades" as there are always open trades at the week end form previous days?

Ravenlok & others,
MT4 v4.09 & TOM v1.89 with autologin is back on all my accounts with all brokers, and all EAs (not just TOM) are breathing with relief LOL.
Have not received a "broker disconnected" email yet and TOMSEA is taking profits at the customary 30 pips.
By talking to several developers I have noticed that noone is using a version of MT4 above v4.09. There is a lesson there for me...

I use MT4i "MT4 Autorestart" Which includes a Broker Watch EA together with their restart MT4 app.
I have set up the email server so that everytime my MT4 loses the connction with the server I receive an email which I get on my phone.
When the platform loses the connection, I receive an email and the application automatically restarts MT4. Normally this clears the problem and I receive a secon email telling me that the connection has been re-established.
If the restart does not solve the problem, I will keep receiving emails telling me that the connection with the brok......

this is news to me? I have used the MT4i EAs previously with v4.09, hope there has not been any changes! Why do you say they need v4.18?

Hi all,
I cannot make v4.19 + v1.91 work for me, all my accounts are taking profits @ 7 to 9 pips constantly plus other EAs are having issues with v4.19 and I keep losing broker connection.
I have therefore just rolled back all my MT4s to v4.09 and I have replaced Tomsea v 1.91 with the older v1.89. (v1.91 does not work with v4.09, it keeps crashing the platform)
Is anyone out there still running the combination v4.09+v1.89? Can anyone advise on it?

v4.19 has the same problem as any after v4.09, apparently makes life difficult for EAs to authenticate.
In my case, I have two EAs that will lose authentication status very often and require manual restart.
TOMSEA itself, is taking profts at 7/8/9 pips rather than the normal 30 and that only started since v4.19 for me
Since v4.19, I lose connection with my brokers very often (both of them). I use MT4i EA to send me a warning email everytime connection is lost and (if and when) automatically reestablished. since v4.19 I receive tons of warning emails.
Generally speaking I think that v4.19 ......

Hi all, I am so desperately needing to go back to MT4 v4.09 with both Hot Forex and GKFX. to be honest, there is not one of my EAs that is behaving as they should! Is there anyone here that has performed a "roll back" before? I have a v4.09 for Hot Forex but I ma not sure how install it over my v4.19 without deleting all my EAs templates etc. will it be ok just to install over it?
Or is it better to use a different procedure?
Anyone has a v4.09 from GKFX? (Pocketguy?)

I think something might be wrong as my Hot Forex account is also closing trades @ 9pips profit on several pairs and seemingly randomly.
This has only started happening since update to MT4 v4.19 & Tomsea v1.91. All was fine before. Both on my UK SB accounts and Hot Forex, trades are closing for random 7/8/9/etc pips.
Anyone else noticed that?
My settings are currently set to FALSE on both type of accounts, although I take your point on the SB version.
