Good to hear things are going well Mike,
I'm a little curious though. Is this an automated account where you are running the EA or is someone managing it? I only ask because you seem to indicate someone is controlling this EA. Do you know if the guy you are speaking of is doing manual trades as well?

Again, folks, please be cautious of this company - fin fx - if you are ever even close to margin, like say their cut off is below 100% for margin call, as it is, and you have 170% margin, as i did, and equally hedged in a trade, they will get you at EOD rollover -- The spread will widen out and take you out. This happen to me twice while equally hedged and no news events going on.
I feel like my money was stolen and fin fx, at best, allowed it due to the kind of banks they deal with. Does a bank throw out any spread and it plugs into their system and margins clients out? Where is the l......

Please be cautious of this company. I have traded with them for about a year and I have experienced some losses due to errors in their feed or their system or just typical broker theft that is quite disturbing.
Last night I tried to close 1 of 3 positions i was down the least on (for 170 pips) and 1 mini lot and instead a position i was down 250 pips for 2.5 mini lots closed and cost me a big loss. As to be expected they said the issue was my fault and would not help.
Tonight, i tried to close a sell position in profit and the platform froze, then there was a big bull candle, and i was cas......

Hi Geldin,
Any thoughts about why your results seem different than some of the other live accounts using this EA? Is it an issue with Hot Forex? What are your thoughts about this broker?

Yeah, I jumped into the micro account without calculating my risk. Too anxious and busy with too many things. I'm not use to trading my EA with micros and as I said in my previous post, once I realized my risk level was around 30% of my account per trade (making up 2-3 individual entries) I said oh crap, I guess I can't run my EA on a micro account with only 150. I let it run anyway and took a big loss.
As I previous said, my target risk size is 5% for my combined series of trades. I also said I'm doing work on the way my EA sets stop losses. Creating a successful system is going to ta......

I just realized I will have to put more money in this account as I am risking a ridiculous amount of equity at the minimum trade size .01 X 3 positions. this would be around 30%.
My first trade is for .03 X 3 essentially risking the account in a worse case scenario. I didn't calculate size properly in setting up the micro trading.
This issue of calculating equity risk is another feature soon to be implemented so i will not have to manually try to figure the trades sizes out.
So regardless of what happens with the first trade I will start the custom date later, once i get the equity issu......
