Intellitrade - Acct Rescue started October 2011 (at -79% gain) In Trading Systems Dec 07 2011 at 11:57
Hi there and welcome to my profile.
The Intellitrade strategy was created and optimised over around 12 months on both real and demo accounts.
The strategy was finalised in September 2011 and I started trading it on this account in October 2011. S0 far so good (16.5% Oct 10% Nov).

I prefer manual trading but more so because I find it stressful using an EA - even though the coding looks great and a lot do make profit I just find it hard to trust a program with my money...
Everybody is different... it does seem though that most EAs make some profits for a while and then crash and burn.... hmmm
Im 50/50 on this...

When you have made mistakes, maybe lost some $$ but have learned from each one and never repeated.
Also when you can instantly take a trade that is within your strategy without hesitation or the worry of will this win or will it loose. Also if that trade looses and the next one after you can carry on consistently without becoming an emotional wreck... and of course make consistent profits.. while taking full responsability for any transactions, that is not blaming or resenting the market for any wins or losses... the market is indifferent about us so we should be indifferent about the market.......

Hey there - good luck on your journy. I hope it works out for you. First thing id reccomend is reading the book Trading in the Zone by Mark Douglas.. Its fundamental and sill continues to help me when it comes to trading... Also as others said babypips.com is the best learning resource out there in my opinion...
Open a demo account too so while you go through babypips you can actually put a working picture to what is being taught, then get used to the charts. I did this for 3 years before investing money.

Fxringleader - nice start to your account - its nice to see someone here who is trading an actual real account and has verified results. Fair play to you. Keep it up.
mrWoland...... as I said before when you have some accounts showing that are real and verified and when the only acivity on your profile is no longer just slating other traders, feel free to come back.
FYI Ive added investment to this account and am putting my money where my mouth is.
I made almost 17% in October (Which is when I started trading my strategy on the account) and just over 10% in November.... so the account is slo......

Ps I agree that Demos are worthless in real time... to an extent - they mean sweet FA in terms of credibility but are useful when developing strategies.
Youll notice that I dont bother with Demo accounts on here, and this is why - it does nothing for credability.

Mr Woland, After all of your advice I assumed you must be a very succesful trader, so I was disappointed to see that not only do you not have any accounts listed and verified with myfbook, your only activity here seems to be a) having a dig at other people here b) poaching for clients...
Look myfxbook is a community not a witch hunt - Im telling it like it is and im publishing my results and verifying them - time will tell and soon enough youll see. Im well aware of the psychology of trading - I took the time to learn about this before even looking at a chart, im well aware people are diffe......

Well thanks to the 1 on 1 training i've had for 3 years by a very successful trader who trades a $10million account, runs a mentor service, travels the world teaching people, has a published book, and is well respected in the real forex world.. thats not the case... i've been ready for some time. Just keep an eye on the results and they will prove themselves... Im not trading some rubbish EA (we all know EVERY single EA fails eventually) I trade a manual strategy I developed, I use both technical and fundamental analysis, and have several very strict entry and exit rules within my strategy and......

Steve - sorry, I've been making a youtube video for some trading buddies Ive recommended myfxbook to - they were having trouble verifying so I made this for them today (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V1gsLujnJ2E) hence deleting the account - you can see for yourself... SO ill be verified again once myfx updates. Also NOTHING has changed in the account as you'll see - myfx includes all trades from the mt4 account. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
