The Alpari stopout doesn't seem to be 20% as they are now at around 10%, and account is still running

Thankfully, my account has not gotten rubbed out although it is holding by a shoestring. I saw my account reach $544 at one point and margin didn't get called. And I am talking about an account that was a 10k account. I am feeling sick to my stomach over this policy of gambling others money away like this. I feel horrible about others that may have had much more inside and already may have had margin calls.

There's a very good broker for MDP. The orders execution times are nearly 300ms in real accounts. No slippage and very low real spreads like 0,2 pips. And has huge liquidy providers. No restrictions...Every conditions are suberb for MDP.
It's CFH Markets Ltd. The only problem is you need $50.000 for account opening...

You can look back at the posts earlier in this thread. It has already been tried and didn't work quite well at all. My theory after some research is that they "toot their horn" more than really are.

Hi,
I'm new here and do you have idea of running this EA on FxPro broker? Each trading duration is few seconds to few minutes thus if there is any high execution delay (8000ms), most of the trades will not be executed. I am thinking of trying MDP on FxPro, anyone who has live account there, could you share your valuable opinion? Many thanks.
Best regards

Yes, this was tried on FXPRO. There were a few trades, but I don't think you will get the full benefit bc (a) FXPRO has a huge amount of requotes, and (b) they don't allow stops within x amount of ......

thanks Judd for the clarification. It helps to know this, and tells me what options I am left with.

"but at that point the ethic discussion will be started by you. due you want to protect your idea"
Thats funny! - I never thought about it from that perspective:)
If one decompiled ex4 code, can you then add in your own simple code to the execution orders? Or do you NEED to put it in the dll file?

Hi Steve,
About the ethics aspect, I overall agree with you although there some very zealous ppl out there who are adamantly against, but I have paid the full price without a problem, and paid my dues as they say.
What I want CAN be done IF i hack it, and put my parameters into the actual code of the EA. And its something I may definitely do. It is the only way I can run the EA the way I want to run it. Otherwise, I basically bought an EA, and can't use it because it doesn't fit what I want.
One of them is FGB - as everyone knows it has been performing pretty horribly lately, but I want to ......

EA's always have to be tweaked. That is the nature of them. In order for them to reflect the underlying market, you must tweak. How do you do that? There are various methods, but most professionals advise you to re-test every 2-3 months to reflect the new market conditions.
Yes you can leave as is, and if it has been back-tested for 10 years, then overall you should come out fine, but if you want even more perfect results, tweaking is the only way.
Fughe has mentioned countless times that he does not want to share his settings. I can get that. In order to tweak you can spend hundreds of hou......

Birt,
You are one of the lucky ones to have walked away from yesterdays GU trade with a profit. My account did not, and neither did the official one on this site. Also, your USDCHF managed to close with -16 as opposed to most of us walking away -30.
