I really dont think this thread should be under sucess stories, but rather it should be under trading systems. Dont get me wrong, it seems you have had some sucess the last six days, and I wish you sucess in the future.
I totally agree that all will move out of US brokers. I did when they started the FIFO rules. Idiots. What I am really fearful of is that they just wont stop protecting us small retail forex traders. You know, just like seat belts tobacco, etc... What I fear most is that they will somehow try to keep US traders from trading offshore. I don't know how they could do it, they cant stop online gambling now, but big brother is resourcefull and stupid enough to try.
Everyone thinks that they get thousands of emails every day. Did you send one? Do you know anyone that has? They cannot get those thousands of emails if you do not send them. However naive an idea it may be, they are supposed to catalog and post each one here http://www.cftc.gov/lawandregulation/federalregister/federalregistercomments/2010/10-001.html Right now I only count 69 comments. If you really think it is a bad idea, take two minutes and send an email. It won't cost you anything to send it, but not sending in your comments may cost you a great deal more down the road.
However you feel about the proposed changes, it is a BAD idea. Please take the time to send an email opposing the proposed rule. I have trying out the twitter updates. Pretty cool, but I do think that I have one issue. It seems that even though I have not checked "Open/Close an order" It still sends the the order information. My EA sets a lot of limit orders that never get filled, so I would like to send only the position info. When it tweets an limit order it sends "Sell Limit 0.06 Lots EURCHF 1.5206". When it canceled the order it sends "Closed Sell 0.06 Lots EURCHF 1.5206 for 0.0 pips, total for today 0.0 pips ". If you get a chance take a look. Thanks
VPS / experiences In Experienced Traders Dec 04 2009 at 02:24
I am with ForexVPS as well. I do have to say they have very good customer service. I have never had any problems with them. I do say using a VPS is the only way to go, no worries about the power going out or the internet connection failing. And being able to access it from anywhere is nice.
When you click portfolio, the comparison chart is not being updated. It looks like it is from Nov 23. Not sure why, but if you get a chance please look at it. I do have one other thing to say, is that your site is very well thought out and user freindly. You have done an amazing job. Thank you.
