see this PDF file to get a sample of such graph http://www.4shared.com/office/gu_8A631/fig.html you will notice that it's an easy way to see if a strategy open a trade and close it before opening an other one or if several trades are opened simultaneously (like in grid strategy) (and how many) having a look a cumulative lot size is also a good way to detect martingale systems
Hello, when we have a look at chart like http://www.myfxbook.com/members/DailyForexPip where there is a lot of strategies it's sometimes difficult to recognize them. You should probably add event like "on mouse over" system name. When mouse is over a strategy name (in the Flash chart), graph should be highlight. Kind regards
Hello, myfxbook should display max number of opened trades for a given account. Moreover myfxbook should also display trade history like this id datetime open/close symbol buy/sell .... number_of_currently_opened_trade 0 19.06.2012 12:28 OPEN EURUSD BUY ... 1 1 19.06.2012 12:30 OPEN EURUSD BUY ... 2 2 19.06.2012 12:31 CLOSE EURUSD BUY ... 1 3 19.06.2012 12:32 CLOSE EURUSD BUY ... 0 and a graph of number_of_currently_opened_trades = f(id) Kind regards PS: how to manage partial close ? PS2: maybe adding an other graph like opened_lots = f(id) could be also a good idea as ......
Graph : one day spacing In Suggestion Box Jun 06 2012 at 10:24
Hello, MyFXbook growth/balance/profit/drawdown graph are not time regulary spaced. the curve moves to the right only when a trade has been closed. It will be much better if we could see a graph with regulary spaced date (1 day spacing on graph) So when there is no trade during a very long time (some days / weeks) you will see an horizontal line. Which is, I think, far more representative of the non-evolution of the balance. It will be nice to provide an option to see the graph as it's now or with 1 day spacing Regards
I also would like such a feature... This is called MAE/MFE Maximum Favorable Excursion (MFE) and the MAE Maximum Adverse Excursion (MAE) It would be nice if this feature will be present for open trades
Hello, only 13 columns can be displayed in trade history. XX.Ticket XX.Magic 01.Open Date 02.Close date 03.Symbol 04.Action 05.Lots 06.SL 07.TP 08.Open Price 09.Close Price 10.Pips 11.Net Profit XX.Gross Profit 12.Duration 13.Change XX.Swap XX.Commissions I would like to see Magic number but I can't add this column without removing an other column Idea 1: it will be very nice to change your website design (width) and to remove the limitation of 13 columns. Idea 2: But you can also consider a quick fix (without modifying website layout). ......
I think that performance should be based on min(balance;equity) (I'm a pessimistic guy)
Hello, I also found that calculating MAE(Maximum Adverse Excursion) and MFE(Maximum Favourable Excursion) could be very useful There is 2 way to calculate MAE / MFE : on client side or on server side Maybe the Myfxbook EA could calculate MAE and MFE and publish it on the website or as scalpguy said calculate it on the server side. I see that Mt4i has MAE MFE graph They say MAE/MFE data is approximate but I don't know if they get this value on MT client side or on the server side. After getting MAE/MFE you could draw MAE_pips = f(outcome pips) MAE_pips = f(MFE_pips) MAE_pips = f(MFE_curre......
PS : I'm sorry but I didn't see the previous post about PAMM. Say me when it will be available
Hello, Your EA seems to be good... but you will need to avoid earthquake like this !! If you show me some more results I will be interessted in renting your EA. I'm sure the idea of renting is better than selling because the market is changing and you could provide only updates for users that give you money each months. The idea of giving an entry fee could be good too (but not to high) Sebastien s.celles@gmail.com
