No longer trading with SmartFX EA's. At least for now. Manual trading only.

As of this evening, running all SmartFX ea's v9 with v9 defaults for MBT. Except for EUR/CHF which I'm leaving off for now. Tim

Decided to jump on the v11 wagon this morning. All pairs will be traded with SmartFX v11 default settings now. Amag80, Sorry I missed your post earlier. I had v9 already from previous use. I would think the only way to get it is from Smartfx but I don't know what their policy is about earlier versions. It appears that v11 is the better ticket anyway. Guess we'll see. Tim

Still running v9. Woke up this morning and found unusually high gains on some open orders. Found the EA button was turned off. Luckily these EA's use SL. So you know the worse case scenario that could happen. In this case I had some nice gains over night. Tim Berry

On June 2nd I dropped v10 of the SmartFX combo for v9 due to lack of performance. I hesitated going to v10 in the beginning because I felt the performance of v9 was adequate. I also felt that a number of people were leaning heavy on SmartFX to get a more perfect performance. Instead I feel the performance has suffered with v10. Tim Berry
I love the new "Goals" section. It allows me to stay on check. What would be nice is to have a graph for the year based on your goal for that year and or monthly goals. So when the actuals chart you can compare to your goals. If you have a bad month you can where you need to be to get back on track. Hope I explained sufficiently. Thanks for a great site! Tim

These were premature closings of the open trades when I added another tracking system to test. If they had not closed, I probably would have experienced worse losses for those 4 as they experienced a lot of drawdown that night on other accounts. Tim [/quote] Disregard this. I was incorrect.

Doing some comparisons with my live account, I've been thinking that the EA's that are being used by this demo work a whole lot more efficiently with $10k rather than $2,500 which is what my live account is working with. Although I do see a little slippage in the live account it shouldn't make that much difference. I will do more comparison with another month of trading. Tim
