you cannot have 13 votes and no one single person vouching for it with good comments...nice try. Somebody show results or this is the person selling it voting for his own EA...

Take your profits while you can or the market will take them from you

Hi Gerald,

Thank you for taking the time to look at the KangarooEA. We have voted once for our product. Our vote was:

Profitability 5/10
Ease of use 10/10
Pricing 7/10
Customer Service 10/10

I think that is an honest appraisal of how we view ourselves. Other then that other people have voted on the EA.

As for results:

Here are our official accounts:

http://www.myfxbook.com/members/TulipFX/kangarooea-cfx/56195 (7+ month history)

http://www.myfxbook.com/members/TulipFX/kangarooea-small-live-c/68427 (4+ month history)

We have also recently added in 12 other brokers so users can watch their performance. They have not been running long though.

Some other accounts which we have noticed running KangarooEA are:

http://www.myfxbook.com/members/forexgermany/kangaroo-ea/71238

http://www.myfxbook.com/members/Don_/kangarooea/70881

http://www.myfxbook.com/members/birt/kangarooea/67781

There are others we know of but are on other reporting sites. If you do an internet search you will probably find them. There are a number of independent forward tests occurring including on DonnaForex.

In addition to that information listed above we have a Whitepaper on our website (www.tulipfx.com) going through full details of the KangarooEA including expected return statistics and the trading logic.

There are also full and complete 99% backtests available via a link in the Whitepaper.

I hope all this information is of use to you in deciding if the KangarooEA is suitable to include in your portfolio.

Regards and green pips,

Ozzie @ TulipFX

Make sure you read section 7&8 of the terms and conditions regarding refunds. Very strict. No chance of refund if your just not happy with EA, it has to make a loss for you to get refund and the way the EA works you either wont get a loss or you will get a loss much larger than the cost of the EA+subscription. Make sure you want this EA before before purchasing.

I am just pointing out that I am not happy about the refund policy and have no complaints about the performance of the EA itself at the moment.

Although I am the born sceptic, I am one happy customer so far.

Starting my Kangaroo at an Alpari UK acc funded with €2500 at 21. Feb this year, it has shown consistent good results. I also like the style of Ozzie and Dutch - hard working, knowledgeable, humble but confident, low noise. I hope you keep this style, guys - the killing of a good system is evident when all kind of affiliates are spamming down our mailboxes, and I much prefer your quiet style!

In a way I think that I should not write a good review, as this might 'blow the secret' and have Kangaraoo lose its effect by being spread all over. On the other hand, these guys really deserve credit, and they also need a certain balanced customer base to keep up the good work.

Click my name to see the stats. For the sake of good order - I am in no way related to Ozzie or Dutch or their company!

PS: For those who wonder: I am currently running it at 7.5% risk

Risk setting of 7.5 does not equate to 7.5% max risk per trade event. Look at your 1st trade event at 2001-02-24, assuming that there is no modification of SL levels and that 6 average down positions is the maximum, you're looking at a maximum DD of -23% in the worst case scenario. See attachment. That said, I see from historical performance that the worst case scenario has yet to happen(by inference, is rare?) And of course, there may be other hedging logic that may come into play.

And another note, I see that you have a stray GBPUSD trade at 1.0 lot. For the sake of being fair to TulipFX, it would be good to state in your description that you are using another EA or manual trading the account too.

Edit: As a point of clarification, I think that Kangaroo EA's performance is excellent. Just that a lower risk setting than 7.5 is probably more prudent.

Thank you for your comments, Raiden.

Of course, I know that the risk level at 7.5 in Kangaroo is not equal to 7.5% risk - it was simply clumsy of me to use the %-sign there. Please also note that I say 'currently' - my level has been and will be changed whenever I see it fit. My interpretation of 'comfortable risk' may change with changing market conditions. Right now, I am comfortable with the 7.5 level, others might not be, and they will probably set it differently.

Like so many of us, I trade in quite a lot of different terminals simultaenously, and it happens htat a trade is being placed in 'the wong' terminal from time to time. The GPUSD you mentioned is one of these, and there is also a small EURUSD on April 7. Apart from these two, all trades have been initiated, handled, and closed by Kanagaroo.

Apologies if I came across as pedantic. Seen too many people equating the 'Risk' settings of EA's as '% of balance risked per trade'. And also other myfxbook posters labelling their accounts as the name of a particular EA when it is not the case, or not running the EA with the proper settings and blowing the account, giving the impression that the EA is bad.

Consistency above all.

Easy tiger.
As you say, we are not dumb. So I'm sure people can make their own intelligent decisions as to whether to use an EA or not. No need to get on your high horse.
